Presumably, he wouldn't now have the lack of sense to risk an adverse finding, so it will be interesting to see how he performs 'clean'.

Though of course he shouldn't get the chance until he either proved his innocence or takes the medicine, as it were.

He has made a brilliant heel when I think about it.
Hard core boxing fans want to see him smashed.
I don’t think it was intentional though, he’s just that thick

 so true, you couldn't invent what he has done 'after the fact'.
Not even the most incompetent spin merchants would have the imagination to conjure up the bollocks he has.

Conor Benn vs Chris Eubank Jr is reportedly now "close to being announced" for June 3rd in Abu Dhabi, UAE after it was scrapped due to Benn's positive drugs tests last year. It's claimed they'll fight at full 160lbs middleweight limit. [According to @SunSport]

More disappointed in Eubank than Benn in this. What kind of example does it set? Failed two tests, fails to submit necessary info to British Board of Boxing Control and yet still gets rewarded with (probably) a seven figure sum.

who will sanction this tho ...
Benn is now a known drug cheat who is supposed to be A clearing his name and B intending to sue the BBOBC.
Big risk for Matchroom this as its really grimy .

and of course Eubank cant fight anyway as Liam Smith showed .

The Middle East Sanctioning board.

If there’s money involved, there’ll be a sanction.

It will be interesting to see if ‘The Board’ and UKAD actually stay silent if some disgusting deal is done to fight overseas? Presumably they’re itching to pull the trigger on a 2-4 year ban/suspension. Well you’d hope they are!

Drug cheat vs shot fighter coming off a KO loss under a dodgy sanctioning board in the Middle East.

It’s a no from me.

Sue the BBBC for what?
This is where it becomes a bit of a joke

Benn just might have to be made an example of

Because there is no vendetta against him. It is 2 failed tests and he had strict liability to explain so. He cannot and the WBC’s help re: eggs hasn’t helped

Just smoke and mirrors and a dirty, grimy story

If the true story ever comes out

How can they when Benn doesn’t hold a BBBC license?

UKAD can rule on their own investigation, and I suppose the board could mirror them by saying Benn is suspended from applying for a license for X amount of time. I find it particularly unpalatable that Hearn thinks he's bigger than the Board and UKAD, and he can just talk his way to a lenient treatment. No Hearn it's 2-4 years, bugger off back to Essex!

Inevitably. He staves off depression for one more training camp. The fella needs to have a plan in place for the rest of his life.

If Benn -Eubank goes ahead in the middle east has its been suggested , Its obvious the BBBC can't stop Benn he's not with them so can't be banned by them only banned really from applying for a liscence with them so fight under a dodgy board in Saudi , well we all know that , BUT what would happen , can the BBBC refuse to allow Eubank who is a liscence holder permision to fight Benn in Saudi ,, or for that matter can they tell Eddie he's not allowed to promote Benn in Saudi .

After all if he promotes and Eubank fights it really is two liscence holders telling the Bbbc to go do one
