So do the folks with military stocks. Not billions.... but a good profit.
Great. Well, that's ok then.
Kronkpride, and I am not comparing you to him, was an anti-vaxer and whined that only the stockholders of the pharmaceutical companies were benefiting. So - then get in on the action.
Not everybody has the spare cash to invest in defence stocks.

I think Benjamin Netanyahu figured out what a lot of American Presidents figured out in the 20th century. There's a lot of money in war, and there's no risk as long as you're just the guy in the palace that's sending people out to fight, and don't have to fight yourself.
All this comes down to is Greed. People sending people out to fight and die so they can make more money or steal their enemies resources.
Countries universally are gonna have to just leave Israel to fight for itself because it seems as if they insist on War being constant. It's too late for America to back out of this one now though. They're in it. You can't walk back a war.
All the problems in the ME start with Israel, leave them to it, I've never got why they have so much support, well apart feom the massive bribes and lobbying that goes on.
From the earliest days of the creation of the state of israel, there were wealthy backers who saw it as an opportunity to make massive profits.

I'm just listening to the rest is politics US, and the word in the political corridoors is that troops are going in to try and secure the straits.
This could get very ugly, once ground troops start being killed.

Yes - this is where "playing president" is no laughing matter.

Trump has two choices. (A) Hand the far left of the Democratic Party a massive victory at the polls in November. (B) Blow up Netanyahu and his cabinet,

This is why republicans are shitty presidents. The Bushs' were only interested in Iraq and Trump is only interested in Saudi Arabia and Israel. You can say what you want about Clinton and Obama but they were both focused on the United States.

There's already nothing Trump can do to prevent a massive Democratic victory in most Major Elections for the next decade or more I wouldn't think. The first year of his 2nd term has been like a guy trying to win a Gold Medal in the F*ck Up Olympics, and succeeding.

Trump is the living embodient of the dunning-kruger effect, he thinks that everyone else in stupid, and weak, and that he alone knows how to get things done, which is why he was always incredibly ill suited to the job. All his stupid shit on Tarrifs, bullying and threatening his allies, and now starting a region wide conflict that threatens to wreck the global economy are why you don't let someone like Trump near a job like that.

Why the far left?
The democrats don't need to exhibit far left policites to win at the midterms, they just need to not sound like lunatics.

Because they will take a harder line position against the war than moderate democrats

I'm not at all convinced by that, there will be plenty of democrats against blowing up the entire middle east region, there are plenty of republicans who feel that way, they are just mostly huge cowards.

Keep going Trump, don't stop until every last member of the current Iranian regime has found the next mortal coil.
They are evil for sure, your leader and his team no longer want to replace them, yes he's said that, he wanted to last week realised it's a tough job, now it's about destroying ballistic missiles apparently. Missiles that cannot reach America, so he's clearly a war criminal.
Obviously, this is an awful thing.
But how in the world does this justify the US attacking Iran? Innocent people killed. American soldiers killed.
