Really good fight.
I had Fury winning fairly comfortably up until the nose break.

The Knitting Circle claimed on a daily basis that Fury was too afraid to fight Usyk. You even posted about him blading himself.
Oh just get fucked.

I know, it was pretty emotional from Uysk as well. This was a news item on my local NZ television station and some major online newspapers where I got the quote from.

flash kd like cases.
Yeah, the difference here - and the reason it's so interesting - is because Fury was cumulatively hurt and right on the brink.
Wilder's knockdowns were flash and we saw Fury beat their counts, but without the ref stepping in Usyk had a couple more shots, and I think another clean one might've finished it. In that situation it's an easy call either way for any dodgy ref.

At the end of the fight any result wasn't going to be a surprise but the knockdown for Usyk probably just sealed it for me.

Last thing I expected was a really good fight. Ur it was! Back and forth action and dead exciting. Made up for boxing as a sport and we have a genuinely deserved #1 heavy.

I thought before hand that Usyk would only win if Fury was a bit shot.
However he beat a top Fury.
I thought Fury won the first 7, not a lot in it, but always a step ahead. Maybe he felt he didn't need to use his leaning tactics as it was all going to plan.
However Tyson should have been stopped, there is no standing 8 count and his knee never touched the ground.
I actually had Fury squeezing the decision, but it wouldn't have been fair as Fury was genuinely stopped.
Can't the ref call a knockdown if it's adjudged the ropes held him up.
There are two rules that could have been used.
1. Standing eight count because the ropes held him up.
2. He was in no position to defend himself.

Don't be a bad loser. Your boy just got his arse kicked by a much better and much smaller man. Show the man some respect and admit that Luke the drug cheat ain't the best heavyweight in the world.

lol, just saw moses fight, predictably silly can crush, these guys are practically begging for the canvas
before his next knock over he could do with another dovbyshenko opponent to get in some rounds
Agreed. The kid has got ability but these fights do not do anything, except pad his record. This is the 'Allegedly' tried and trusted method
Put the kid in with someone who can, at the very least, go a few rounds (ie maybe a Adeleye or Dacres or Clarke - seeing as they want to move him into a title shot, rapidly, 'allegedly').
As you suggest, all these guys, although gutsy are just simply waaay below any level and not sure Moses learns anything from fights like these as he just comes in and does the same thing and its over in a round or two.
PS Thought Uysk won a close fight, probably 2-3 rounds (inc the KD). Fury can't really complain as he lost to a better fighter on the night and has had, in the past, a few decisions go his way (McDermott and Ngannou). This one didn't.

His dad has to go. He seriously weakens the team. And the war comment was unnecessary. There was loads of Usyk fans there with literally no legs due to that war. Really ill judged comments.

Great fight, great occasion.
The better man won and as others have said it would be nice to see Usyk sail off into the sunset now with his health and wealth and legacy secured.
A great weekend could only get better if John Fury were to be arrested at the airport and summarily given a ten year sentence for his unprovoked assault earlier in the week.

Yeah, time to bin his dad from the setup, he's a cretin, and he's no help to him whatsoever, the corner was a complete shambles, how can you have someone shouting over your lead trainer constantly?
Tyson lost the fight because he didn't work hard or consistently enough, he had 4 pretty dominant rounds, but really, that was it, all the other rounds were relatively close, aside from the 8th when he got knocked about like a wife in once were warriorsa.

I agree.
He was a distraction in the week but he was also talking at the same time as Sugar in the corner which is never good. Should only be one voice in the corner.

One word. Conditioning. If he wasn't carrying around those stupid love handles and all the other extra weight, he'd be able to fight at a faster pace. Anyone who says the fat doesn't matter hasn't got a clue what they're talking about.
Then he's got three voices in the corner. Madness.
Usyk won, so it don't matter to me.
