He should of pulled the show ? ….he did pull the show
Risk the life of CEJ ? ….. the fighter choose to step through the ring ropes …
You definitely either work for DAZN or are just trolling us

Agree with you completely. He's risked his reputation and has come off as taking the public for fools and as very hypocritical. Should've chucked Benn under the bus.

I agree with the posts criticising Hearn.

I truly cannot believe how he has represented boxing this week.

What interests me more is the B sample results.

I am totally convinced there is going to be a cover up …

Theres more to this than a cancellation of a show and the out come is going to stink out boxing.

I say again theres more to this to be played out.

I'm genuinely puzzled how any of the parties here think they can sue the BBBC with any chance of success on a balance of probabilities basis.

The nonsense spouted about a "High Court injunction" is utter garbage. Nothing was filed with the Court - we aren't even talking about whether there was an injunctive case pending - they didn't even file for the right to have to have a hearing.

Benn failed a drug test. That makes the bout ineligible to be sanctioned by the BBBC as it voids all of their insurance policies, and arguably makes it a criminal event - punching another human being is an offence.

I strongly suspect that Hearn will back down. I can't see any upside in him becoming litigious - as an aggressive lawyer myself I can't see any upside from it - the Board don't have the resources to pay for Matchroom's losses from this cancellation (and to be clear I don't think they are liable for it), so he has no net positive outcome - and in evidence he will have to answer a court about the drug status of Benn, which I assume, the Board's lawyer will then turn into a broader question about the the status of more of his fighters.

Perhaps the best outcome is a clear protocol about drug testing.

I do hope it was a whistle blower who exposed this but how many times has Eddie got away with this?? I know Rivas wasn't informed of Whyte popping dirty because unlike VADA, UKAD only inform the guilty party for some bizarre reason

Like Whyte's court case against the BBBC I'm sure Matchroom's will disappear when the dust settles

I’m not so much wondering how many times Eddie’s got away with this - more wondering how many times the BBBC have allowed fights when knowing one of the fighters has tested positive for something.

Froch also said that it was a voluntary drug test (Bunce added that they had to pay £34,000 for) and why would he do a voluntary drug test if he was doping.

Froch just said about Benn doping: “I just don’t see what he’s got to gain from this.”

Much discussion on how it’s just traces and there are off-the-shelf drinks that could have this anti-man boob stuff in it. How we’ll be sitting here in 6 weeks after finding out how it was all an honest mistake.

Bunce’s voice raising now to a crescendo. he’s excited about how big the fight will be when it does happen. STADIUM FIGHT in the summer

I kind of get that. If you’re doping then why pay money to sign up to VADA if you don’t have to?

Either it was Eubank who wanted it in or Benn thought he could beat the system.

In fairness that could be true. One of my mates drinks loads of energy drinks and he’s got at least a C-cup. It must be the trace amounts of clomiphene they put in them.
