Re: Betting thread
I reckon Paddy Power will pay out on Celtic before the season starts.
Re: Betting thread
Great bet that. Already got 25 quid on to recoup a quid. Its like buying money.
Re: Betting thread
Had a really decent win last weekend. Gone big on Khan & Haye to win ko/tko. Also done both to win in rounds 7-12.
Re: Betting thread
I think Khan will win quick; he is a very fast starter and Garcia is not top notch. I'll try to get Khan in rounds 1-3.
Re: Betting thread
Haye 6-10 or pts at evens.
A decent bet. I don't see Haye doing it under 5 rounds.

that is a good one.
Feel like Chis can bully him and stop him late though.
ARRRGHH, I'm really torn.

Re: Betting thread
Surely the head has to rule the heart in this one. Chisora has a best win of Sam Sexton and lost every time he stepped up above British level. He did put in a decent effort against Vitali but he was still taken apart by a guy with a broken hand and barely won a round. Plus, Tyson Fury!Riddick Blowe wrote:that is a good one.

Haye has lost twice, once as a young inexperienced fighter believing his own hype and to the number 1 Wlad. All bar 2 of his wins were by stoppage. The first time he went the distance was to show that he could do it and the second was against a giant who he also hurt.
Chisora will get stopped

Re: Betting thread
But Chisora has hardly been hurt and Haye doesn't have massive power at heavyweight.
I've been back and forth over this but in the end I think Haye will win a decision with some rocky moments. I'm still getting on the Chis stoppage value though...

Pretty much my thoughts. I'll be sticking most of my money on Haye in rds 6-10 at 4/1 with Ladbrokes.

Re: Betting thread
His 3 toughest opponents have been Fury (has no real power...yet), Helenius (lower level opposition to boost his slate) and a one-handed Vitali. I just feel that Haye will time him, hurt him and follow up as he did against Audley. Also, Haye has hurt everyone he's faced at heavy bar Wlad. He really wobbled Valuev too.Riddick Blowe wrote:But Chisora has hardly been hurt and Haye doesn't have massive power at heavyweight.

Re: Betting thread
Haye v Chisora
I see this as a tale of two fights, Haye will control the early rounds with Chisora the latter. I predict that Chisora will be the one pushing forward and Haye fighting off the back foot. Haye will be dangerous early but if Chisora can get through the first few rounds, I feel the fight will be his to lose - remember Haye has a previous defeat due to gassing, albeit this was years ago to Carl Thompson. However, Haye has only gone 12 rounds twice in the last few years (I know this is over 10 rounds tonight) and in both of these fights he was hardly made to fight for 12 hard rounds, Chisora will put him under pressure from the word go and make him work.
Khan v Garcia
As much as Id love to be writing saying Amir Khan will get KOd and we'll never hear of him again, sadly I dont see this being the case tonight. But business is business and I've seen nothing in Garcia to suggest he can beat Khan tonight.
Recommended Bet
Dutch Doubles on: Chisora to win Outright (7/2) and Amir Khan to win Outright (1/5) (both Skybet) pays just under 9/2 and Haye rounds 1-5 (3/1) and Amir Khan to win Outright (1/5) (both Paddy Power) pays just under 4/1

No way, it's a 3 setter so Muzza wins this no problems

Oh it's 5 sets in the final ? ...I still reckon Muzza wins it, as there's not the same pressure here as at a slam, it's a level below - Murray's trainer Ivan hasn't even bothered showing up for it.

Pretty annoying that this version of Federer didn't, and would never turn up in the Wimbledon final vs Murray.

Bellew is 11/4 to win inside the distance against Miranda, looks very big to me.

Any tips for the weekend? Any inside info on teams... Bookies caught off guard seeing first game of season
Re: Betting thread
I hate betting on the tossers, but City -1 to beat Southampton @ 8/15 seems to be decent vale if you have a bit of cash to spare.
You can also get odds of 8/13 for City HT/FT.

Re: Betting thread
Martinez is 7/2 to KO Julio Chavez Jnr, don't know if I'm missing somat, but that looks mega generous to me
Re: Betting thread
Abraham 9/2 to win by stoppage against Stieglitz seems very big to me
Re: Betting thread
Agreed.GlobalBox wrote:Abraham 9/2 to win by stoppage against Stieglitz seems very big to me
I reckon this is either Stieglitz on points (11/4) or AA by stoppage (9/2), so I've had a bit on each and will still double my money if it comes off
