With news of Amir Khan being banned from
Sport for 2 years.

How will this affect the case of Connor Benn?

Strict Liability, Spud

His 4,000 page(or however many) document cannot explain it apparently.

So WBC (really?). Went with eggs
No, the lab is corrupt
The BBboc can do one

Saudi or nowhere, against past their prime names, or weight drained contenders.
Only for cash

Can’t explain Conor?
2-4 years pal

I am not so sure pal.

I am convinced “confidentality” & legal restrictions will have its voice to silence what is going on.

I sort of get the confidentiality thing
Just in case it’s wrong

That in itself is wrong

That there are talks of Benn v PAC, Brook or even Eubank Jr (lite) is a fackin farce.

This guy is supposed to be looking at World titles. But now been found out. So. Cash out.

Eddie. Put on Spence v Benn in Saudi.

I might be spit-balling, but if Hearn announces a fight and before the date UKAD announce a ban, I think it might mean that any boxing board signed up to WADA codes can’t sanction the fight. Which might be why neither the US (USADA) or Australia (Sport Integrity Australia) would let the event fly. Hearn would need a bunch of cowboys in Saudi to sanction it.

Past referees, judges etc etc will be brought in

Well they’d fit as obviously WADA wouldn’t touch them with a ten foot poll! Most of their fighters are tripping balls on steroids!

If that’s right Mickey

UKAD need to do far bloody more

This whole frenzy could have been nipped in the bud and dealt with months ago

What a shambles

Conor Benn weirdly rises in WBC ratings despite no fight in a year

Despite not fighting in a year, British welterweight Conor Benn ascended in the World Boxing Council Rankings released on Thursday.

Benn went from seventh in March to sixth in April after being initially suspended from the ratings before the WBC reinstated the Londoner.

Bet Benn is disappointed he's not in the top 5!

Apparently he is threatening legal action

I’m actually surprised the WBC hasn’t awarded him an honorary title… ‘The WBC Honesty and Humility Belt’ perhaps?

My issue with Benn isn't really that he's been caught cheating - it's his complete denial and obnoxious behaviour towards it all.

He was shite anyway, but if he was a bit more down to earth and gave it the "oh sorry, what am I like eh" jibe, chances are he could have come out of it all a lot better than he has done.

Whereas now, I don't think many would disagree with the book being slapped across his irritating face a couple of times.

So Benn seemingly swerving the BBBoC as presumably they will refer it to UKAD who on their strict liability standard would be banning Benn even if they accepted that he accidentally ingested a prohibited substance...

The WBC ruling doesn’t actually help Benn in the UK or with his continued defence that the testing process was flawed. I don’t see how he can justify fighting abroad without a board ruling on this.
