Im going to say Foreman wins this by Ko late in the fight,
Wlad is leading and does everything but floor Foreman who
like an anvil takes heavy whacks from the iron fists of Klitschko.

Just as Wlad drops his guard he walks into a massive right hand
that closes his eyes.

Foreman KO 9

George Foreman (1991) vs Jack Dempsey (1919) 15 rounds.

Dempsey by Tko in Round 9...Ref steps in.Foreman protests, but it simply got too brutal in there.
Foreman too slow at this stage for the Swarming Power Punching Machine.
I'd favor a 73-76 version of Big George over Jack though.

Foster manages a late-stage knockout over Carpentier in a close, terrific stoush. Tua drops Bowe in the third round, in his only highlight of a fight in which he lost ten rounds to suffer a clear decision defeat.

Carmen Basilio & Mickey Walker at Welterweight, with a rematch set eight months down the line at Middleweight. Fifteen rounds, the pair of 'em.

i take carmen to edge out the inconsistant welter that was mickey walker. always dangerous but carmen knows too much for the bulldog this time.
basilio UD
in the rematch at middleweight walker has carmen down twice - and one body shot from mickey was clearly low - before the ref stops it in the 10th.
walker TKO 10

in a cracker of a contest barrera wins a split decision. the hawk gave it everything but barrera kept cool under pressure and saw out rough rounds 7, 8 and a torrid 9 to impose himself on pryor thru to the 12th.

Two under-estimated Lightweights. Petrolle in a great, great fight, for mine. Buchanan earns every cent in defeat, though. He was a great fighter, too :TU:

This is a good match up.

Moorer can not catch Byrd often enough to confirm his
dominance. A lack lustre fight, with both south paw's
fighting a safe and steady bout.

Byrd pecks his way to a slow points win.

Byrd UD12.

A couple of barnburners here. :D

Grant is too big and strong for Willard. They take turns tasting the canvas, but Willard eventually stays down for good. TKO11

Carnera and Akinwande is a clinch-fest, and Carnera eeks out a points decision.

...with Hatton taking a narrow decision. Fenech was close to being stopped in the last two rounds. Hatton, on-song, is just too big, though if they were the same size, Fenech'd break him clearly. He's obviously the better man, for mine --- just not big enough, in the end, though.

(whitaker must be a real crafty mutha to be too crafty for benny)

the under rated galaxy wins by KO 6 but he has his nose busted for his efforts, montiel finding the southpaw just too good for him.

laszlo papp was an all time great amateur, he went on to an undefeated 26 odd pro fights as he made his way through the best europeans towards the world title, only to be halted by hungarian politics before he got there. one hard bast...d, and a superb technician with KO power, lets see how he would get on with a guy who did make it to the top;

Well, obviously everybody has right to their own opinion...
Personally seeing how easily, as an amateur, Savon outboxed or/and KO'd all those guys who later went pretty much to the top of HWD, I just can't stop wondering how big he could've become, had he had turned pro at, say 26-27.

Wlad out boxes for the most part Fraziwr who struggles to
pin Wlad down. In the 8th though Frazier's body attacks and relentless
assaults see Wlad lower his guard.

a massive left hook floors Wlad that see's him counted out.

Frazier KO 9.

Quarry is relentless, and he works Haye onto the ropes for 5-6 rounds. Haye fights in spurts, conserving energy against the agressive opponent. By the 7th, Jerry is gassed, and Haye opens up, battering Quarry with unanswered blows, until the ref stops in.

Fun fight, but Tszyu's wide-spaced elbows expose his ribs to a ceaseless battering. He wins only two rounds en route to being stopped in eight. If Hatton roughed him up, Tszyu would surely quit against Duran. Two great fighters in a different class.

Tommy Hearns vs. Roy Jones at Middleweight. 12 Rounds. Neither man's best weightclass, here.
