I fancy Chavez here, he is huge at the weight against a fighter who is a natural light middleweight. Watching Martinez against Macklin & Barker I think he is on the way down whilst Chavez is on the way up. I could be completely wrong but something is telling me Chavez wins this one.

I'm surprised you say that, but I've not seen Chavez Jr fight in a while.......... he must've improved a lot (going by your prediction)

He has improved a lot and is a monster at the weight, I think he comes into the ring around 170lbs. I can see Martinez winning the early rounds but as he slows down Chavez will get to him.

It'll just be like watching Taylor-Chavez 1 all over again :TU:

I had a nice touch on Paul Lawrie winning the golf yesterday @ 30/1 so I've chucked a few quid at this, if it comes in happy days if it doesn't its cost me nothing.

Have a fancy for Juan Martin Del Potro in the US Open, he's had a bad time with injuries over the last couple of years since winning this title in 2009 but seems to be getting back to somewhere near his best.

@ 20/1 it's worth a tenner.

Golovkin to win and Newcastle to beat Villa double at a shade over evens will do me this weekend.

ive watched a couple of his fights recently, and he is hardly a defensive wizard. martinez can certainly whack, so for chavez to win he will need to display a granite chin.

Bellew vs Miranda

Bellew at 2/7 and Miranda at 4/1 in some places.

I expect Bellew will probably win, but at those odds I'm gona have a few little quids on Miranda as he has operated at a better level than Bellew, I think there is some value in those odds.

Bellew by stoppage
Olusegan to win outright
Klitschko on points
Dawson via stoppage

£5 pays about £1300.
That's just crazy enough to come in. I'm on it :TU:

Olusegun is 12-1 to win on points with hills that looks very big so I have had some.

Chad Dawson is 4-1 to win by points on paddypower, which is great value.

Bellew points is 5/2 at Paddy Power, had a little on that and also had it in a small double with VK/Charr over 7.5 comes out at 5/1.

Purdy is 1/5 on tonight. Not seen the other bloke but Boxing News are tipping him to stop Lee.

Thats crazy! 1/5! Could be an upset on the cards then.
The other guy's record doesn't look owt special though., he could have fought at a pretty low level. Other guy can be had at around 5/2 or 3/1 ish. I'd be tempted if he was just slightly bigger on the odds.

Burns inside 12 is my weekend bet @ 6/1. Mitchell could be in trouble if Ricky keeps it on him in the last 3/4 rounds.

I might also have a little dabble on it to keep it interesting

I'd want more than 9/2 for Mitchell to stop Burns.

I think the best bet is Burns inside the distance, 6/1.

I'd want 9/2 to bet on Mitchell to win the fight, in all honesty.

Think the mitchell burns fight is one to leave alone in all honesty. Burns has never been stopped. Mitchell has been stopped only once by a massive puncher and there was reasons for that in my opinion, and the the outright prices are far to small for a punter like me to win anything off a £20 bet. In saying this though i might have a £5 on mitchell to win by split decision at 14-1. If he is clearly winning big the judges might have it tighter

Mitchell 9/1 for a stoppage between 9-12 with Sportingbet. Might have a couple of quid on that.

I think the 4/6 on Burns just to win is an excellent price given he's boxing at home and looking at the respective performances against Katsidis. Thing Burns should control the fight from distance and win a comfortable points decision.

The 4/6 has gone now, best price is 8/13.
Burns obviously getting well backed and rightfully so imo.

Burns wins by stoppage in rounds 9 to 12 after a brave effort from kev. :TU:
