My guess is whyte is just playing shenanigans. Frank and Fury have been a real cock to whyte, and his purse is set in stone, so he dosent have to sign things quick, or do media, ect. he has to do the bare minimum. he might even still be struggling away with some arbitration, but that wont go anywhere.
As for speculation he will walk away... i highly doubt it, if matchroom offered him 8+ million to fight AJ or Usyk then fair enough. USyk has more belts, and AJ is more beatable.. But if they were looking at whyte vs AJ then they would of taken the step aside money as a bonus and if AJ isnt triggering the rematch and whyte isnt fighting fury surely usyk is looking at Fury not whyte...

Whyte's a moron. He's trying to price his sorry butt out, while his buggest PPV was when his butt had been kicked by Joshua. It was his first PPV and his numbers are stricktly on a decline since then, from 699K to 197K. Fury's biggest one was over a million and the recent is in several times bigger than Whyte's latest one.

It’s probably all speculation.
But….if they offered him Usyk for several million more than he’ll get for Tyson, is that a bad move for him?

I guess, that's an impossible move, cause right now it's either Joshua or Fury on the Usyk's radar.

surely whyte's just biding his time here , will he get a bigger slice at the arbitration? if so surely he'll wait for that or it could be just mind games anything to get a 1% better chance of beating fury it's not like he's scared to fight is it ? i don't like him turning down the aj fight last time but surely he wants to be fairly compensated each fight could be your last

Whyte has history of turning down World title shots. Maybe he hasn't had time to sort out his "nutritional" cycle to sign yet?

No one forced you to be a fighter Whyte,s**t or get off the pot. Behaving like a div, youre the one taking shots while we sit on our armchairs so negotiate your whack fair enough but either way you go about it its a career best £ for you
Stop dining out on how game you if youre gonna behave like youve got no bottle when it comes to a really significant fight for you

Hope he reads this.
He needs to hear this shit.
End of the day, it’s the fans that have made him his money. Paying for his PPV fights, when he wasn’t even a PPV fighter to begin with.
The buys continued of course and he was kept on PPV.

100%, he was no PPV man, just a bit of an exciting fighter who made people laugh and would have a bit of rough and tumble
Its just this ridiculous behaviour i dont have any time for,its like they were held under duress & forced to take a career as a fighter when a grown man behaves like this

Because he is a massive chicken and knows he will lose so wants more money.

Not taking this fight is simply not an option for Whyte, unless he’s retiring from the sport.
He is just posturing and waiting for more money as Bob alluded to be willing to give him and the contract.
All of this is indirectly decent promotion for the fight anyway.

Or he can get more money, fighting for more belts against Usyk, in a more winnable fight.

Why would Team Usyk agree for Whyte to get more money-the fight wouldn’t even generate anywhere near the type of money that Fury-Whyte does.
Also, Frank would most likely pressure the WBO as Joyce is waiting for his shot.

if there’s a chance the arbitration ruling comes in prior to this 21 day deadline, then surely best for Whyte to hold tight and wait for that

Just speculating. I read a report (think it was on here actually) saying Whyte/Usyk was potentially being discussed and based on the financials if it would happen in Saudi it’s certainly a possibility that Whyte could get a good chunk more for Usyk than the big purse he’s getting for Fury.

Would all depend if the Saudis are interested. It’s possible that they could pay $20m/$25m for the fight. You add in the worldwide TV rights and there’s probably $35-$40m in the pot.
Agree it’s easier said than done and Frank will be putting pressure on the WBO although the WBO mandatory (Usyk) was sorted in AJ’s last fight.
