Yeah, the stream quality was okay on its highest setting (lots of artefacting, but entirely watchable), but they didn't have the usual multiple angles during the after-round replays.

Because Jones was seeing a different fight to us (and not only re: those bodyshots), and because Parker wasn't taken out of his attacking stride at all, I dismissed those uppercuts as insufficient to win rounds by themselves. They might've been enough to draw rounds had I seen them, but I gave those rounds to Parker.

Then they read out 110-118 twice and O'connors name: I was sure of a ridiculous Huey victory.

And who'd have bet against it after last weekend.

I like Parker but just because he has a belt doesn't mean he is a top fighter. He is decent but just not that top level.


I have a different view on world class though. Eg sky view you lose to a belt holder = world level.

Thats how I was scoring it too, and once you start scoring it that way its hard to change your viewpoint so I ended up with 119-111 for Parker. Hennessy screaming about corruption and agenda's but then comparing Hughie to The Greatest guarantees that people won't take his complaints seriously, "shades of Ali" for crying out loud! I watched the Canelo/GGG fight twice last Sunday morning and changed my mind about who I felt won but it was still very close whichever way I scored it. No way was I prepared to watch Parker/Fury again, it was painful enough watching it live the first time!
