No idea. Let’s see what happens.
It's all speculation, like everything else really.
We thought we'd be a step closer after the purse bids, but nothing has really progressed has it?

Hearn is out and about for the Taylor/Serrano stuff today and has had plenty of time to get his lines right on this one, so we can look forward to what he says........
Hearn’s seemingly been quite quiet today. Unusual for him.

Oh crap, BT ppv

Hopefully Sky box office will pick it up too because BT is impossible for me to watch.
Sky does deals outside the European Market sometimes to use their platform down under.

Eddie has said the fight will happen. He has gone quiet because he's not the promoter. They haven't received the contract yet. Dillian is chilled and training and not entering into a slanging match. No other discussions are being had.

What Eddie says makes sense as far as I see it.
Fury has turned into a parody of himself with his ever more frequent video rants. By just letting him basically make a fool of himself, and not playing along, it will probably have more of an affect on him than ranting back.
As others have said; Whyte doesn`t owe Fwank any favours by doing his bit to sell the fight. fWank was happy to see Whyte lighter in the pocket taking this fight - so maybe Whyte wants to return the favour to fWank.

Obviously i'm not the guy Hearn or Whyte ring up to ask advice or tell me what there up to ,,, But i did post a while back i did'nt think Eddie was too bothered and was sprouting how much he wants it too push the price up ,,, I still think that , plus now he's obviously not going to promte Franks show for him is he ,,, Regards Whyte , he probably feels hard done too on the purse , so i doubt he's going to do any more than he's contracted too do , regards promoting and that includes arguinng with Fury over , the internet or any where else , I do suspect that will get under Furys skin , ignoring him treating him as just an irrelavent opposition will not bide well with Furys ego , it will also probably annoy Big John and wind them up .
This fight is starting to get interestingt for me , because i don't think any of them are has good has there made out , I do think this fight is going to show us just how good Fury is ,, because i still maintain , he's only fought 2 decent opponents for world class level , one being an old Klitchko who Aj also beat , and the other was too small to outbrawl him and not good enough to outbox ANYONE
.... Whyte well i don't think he's any great shakes either , but he will have a go ,, will be dangerous right up to the end , can probably box better than wilder , is younger than Klitchko and is a strong guy ,,, Fury should win , but theres always a but

Fury’s a master wind up merchant. Whyte may not be engaging with him now but come the first press conference I’d be surprised if he manages to keep his cool

Queensbury haven’t paid the 10% deposit to the WBC yet.
If they’ve been given approval from their Broadcaster for a fight date, why are they dragging their heels on this ?
Are they concerned they might lose their deposit ?

Really? I though the deposit would have to be that day. Isn’t that the point of a deposit?

Sounds like Fury and fWank trying to make headlines out of literally nothing .. because Whyte has said just that .. nothing.
I'm surprised so many here quick to run with Whyte (feathers)is a coward or now considering to pull out .. like or loathe Whyte he is definitely not a coward . His fighting style is that of a very brave and fearless man.
It's a lottery type payday for any boxer; including Whyte .. he'll be there.

WBC Rules - 2.8 - Obligations regarding purse offer bids
"The winning promoter of the purse offer must, within ten (10) calendar days after the
bids are opened or at the date specified in the Minutes, deposit with the WBC ten percent
(10%) of the total amount of his offer. "
Just Hearn being Hearn/Boxing Promoter.

He didn’t say they were late with it - just that Whyte was waiting for that and a contract which is fair enough I guess.

OK so whats the timeline.
-Fwank has 5ish more days to pay the deposit.
-Then fwank has to send whyte and fury a contract
-Then whyte and Fury have to sign that by Feb 22 (i think thats what hearn said somthing around then)..
-then 8 weeks till fight day...
I have zero confidence in this untill the deposits in, thats a start.. Once thats done i expect contracts to be sent pretty quick, If im whyte im training and not even acknowledging it till feb 20... Keep some doubt in there team as to weather its happening untill your 8 weeks out,, then sign it but stay in portugal and train up a storm, fornicate press confrences ect ect. your the 20% split, you dont have to promote you gotta train.. (if im going to a press conference id want somthing in return like Babic and wardly and kongo on the undercard)...

Ben Shalom representing Dillian Whyte and trying to do a last-minute deal with Top Rank and Frank on behalf of Sky? Where does that leave Eddie? Boxing is messy old business.

Strange one isn’t it. Weird to call Frank up just before the bids. They’ll never get a deal done in that time frame and then even stranger he didn’t bid if he is representing Whyte.
Will be interesting to hear the reasoning behind it. Eddie talking about it yesterday makes you think he’s still on solid terms with Whyte.

But it won't be on Sky this fight will it? Will be on BT.
I read that I was Whyte's lawyer and Ben Shalom were doing this deal yes. You're right.

Young Ben seems keen, which is good. He's a Manchester lad, isn't he? A few Shaloms out Hale way who are decent businessmen. Maybe family money (? or external backers) and a keen, switched on young entrepreneur will do the sport good.

Sky can sometimes broadcast a PPV from another provider, like BT in markets outside of their range.
Australia and New Zealand have got PBC and BT PPV on the Sky Box Office system in the past.
Hopefully they do this time too, otherwise I ain't gonna see this one.
