It seems quite possible that were UKAD to decide to rule in the Conor Benn case it would be a 4 year ban. As stated in the editorial in this week’s Boxing News, if Khan’s tribunal had found the use was intentional it would have been 4 years and not 2. Khan benefitted from having a clear UKAD test 7 days before he failed the post-fight test. Benn’s legal team will one day have to argue like crazy just to get 2 years. Two failed tests is going to make it an uphill struggle!

It is clear though that Benn’s just dragging his heels to put off the tribunal stage as long as possible. He just wants to big cash fight first!

Khan and Benn are light years apart. .
Benn - Fails two tests. Asks us to apologise. Doubles down and uses his dads fight against Watson as evidence he is innocent.
Khan - clean beforehand. Doesn’t hide behind a 270 page dossier he refuses to release. Was a genuine world class fighter. A bit simple and we all like him a bit.
Benn could have benefitted from better PR advice.

I get this but,
Khan has failed and can’t explain it apart from “
A swig from me brothers bottle”. No mate. Sorry no
pass
Benn has failed twice and has no explanation whatsoever (apart from a 270 page dossier) that no-one can read
Strict Liability and Khan got two years
Hmmmmmmmm
Benn well………

How can UKAD ban him surely only BBBOC can do that. On a side note he passed UKAD testing.

At last …
I was beginning to get suspicious that something was happening as Eddie has gone relatively quiet on Benn fighting again.
I wonder what the BBBofC does about Eddie if he bypasses them by using another governing body and not them.

He's handed over the dossier, apparently. Conor won't like this at all, being made to do stuff.

There’s no grounds for any official reaction to him putting Benn on a show outside the UK.
I assume they will refuse permission to box abroad for any license holder to be his opponent.

Surely Eddie is clever enough to realize Benn's days of headlining shows in this country are long gone at least for the foreseeable

Ive said it before though I hope the BBBC are accountable here as well, they should've scrapped the fight long before the 11th hour and they need to get in line with VADA and we wont need to hear about this "passed a UKAD" pish

You are wrong there.
A BBBofC licence holder is not allowed to work for or take part in another governing bodies promtion unless permission given or affiliation to the BBBoC

I wonder why Hearn doesn't get rid of him ? He's not worth the continuing shit show and he is no attraction unless you pay to see him knocked out

While there’s the possibility of the Eubank fight being made Eddie will defend him to the hilt.
As soon as it becomes clear that it’s not possible to make that fight he’ll drop him like a hot potato

AND ABOUT TIME ,, Way i read it is he's out , good and proper , out of boxing out of training and out ,, it clearly states anyone who assists him in any way ,, so that has far has i'm concerned is promoters , managers , trainers and sparring partners , no matter where , so now lets see if Simms has him in the gym , if he does BAN HIM HAS WELL , if Eddie helps promote him in any way , take his promoters liscence , get rid of the horrible little caaaant for good .
Why the hate , simple , most people hate bad losers , I DON'T , i really don't hate on bad losers , , Why , because its in there make up lots of times its what makes them good sportsman , they just hate losing , and more often than not there bad sportsmanship is aimed inwards towards themselves for losing , 5 minuites later they will recover apolagize and say sorry i was mad at myself not you .
But BAD WINNERS , now there a different story , and Benn is a bad winner of the highest order , needs to juice up , needs to only compete against over the hill opponents , not ashamed to blatanly not take 50-50 fights , and rubs his opponents nose in it when he wins and unashamadly carrys on like a goose , while all the time he's cheating , remember when him and his idiotic father rip rap father were dancing around trhe ring , while his opponent he could of killed was still recovering , , bad stain on boxing , now lets hope the arsewipe , if he ever comes back clean , meets a good up and comer and has it happen to him .

I’m glad some positive action now being taken, they can’t allow fighters to try and bully their way out of situations by threatening legal action as that will set a bad precedent, you don’t accidentally fail two drug tests.

Summed up rather well.
I know someone who thinks the reaction to the Connor Benn situation & and the stick he has taken is more than any other boxer.
In ny most humble opinion Benn’s reaction to the various aspects of his 2
FAILED drugs tests has fully justified the adverse reaction to Benn.
Benn’s attitude is shockingly bad.
The big problem I have with this is as I have stated before, the reaction comes from the minority of serious boxing fans. The general public doesn’t gove a fcuk.
If Eddie announced a Connor Benn fight in the UK it
Would be a massive sell out.
