Depends whether you are talking about what the WBC should or are obliged to do?
You should never forget that this is all about money.
When they feel Fury is losing them money, he will be stripped toute suite!
However at the moment they feel they will earn far more getting a big fight in the end, than by stripping him to keep the belt busy where they will earn chump change in Polish leisure centres.
It all quite simple really.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they sanction the Ngannou bout for some kind of special belt.
Well, it says box there - is it a boxing match then?
Whatever it is, it's a shiteshow.
Had Fury actually defended his belts this year, then I'd not really care so much, but this is pretty pathetic stuff.
Yeh. And he fought in April against anyone then fair enough. But if this is his only 2023 outing then fornicate it.

It's mouthwatering...
Who is going to win the boxing match between a seasoned boxer and a non boxer?
Not much regard is being paid to Ngannou's wellbeing and safety here. He won't be able to defend himself beyond the first round, if it goes that long.
A shameful event.
Uysk really has beaten Fury.

Hopefully it will at least have the pretence of being a real boxing event similar to Mayweather and McGregor, which surely is the template here. Not sure that Ngannou won’t get very tired and fall down in a big heap much earlier than the Irishman though.

They will have already agreed how it’s going to play out.

Looking forward to July 29th and August 12th
but also the HATERS crying for the next few months because Tyson Fury ICED Joshua (made him snap) in yesterdays interviews - made Usyk aka Gollum cry like a little bi*ch. Triggered Frotch, Bellew, Nelson, Eddie, teaboy Smith, Fearon & more.
Does it hurt, does it hurt??

Ngannou is long in the tooth. This sounds like a cynical cash-out and retire job. Potentially for both of them. Isn’t the Fury mandatory likely to come from the winner of Ruiz and Wilder? Presumably that’s Ruiz, who Fury would be heavily favoured to beat but you’d have to wonder if Fury has the stomach for any more live opponents?!

Fury has gone full Mayweather. What a shame. I've loved Fury's career. And I'm a big fan of his in the ring. I don't blame him for making as much money as he can but I'm sad as a boxing fan.

There's a lot of jealousy of Joshua and Uysk in your posts..

Ah well, look on the bright side, at least Ngannou is bigger than Paris Fury.

Rather than dare to be great he's cashing out, what a shame. Never seen so much effort put in to avoiding a great fight.
