I heard earlier today on the radio from an economic reporter that prices for everything will start to really increase after 1 more week because the countries who receive oil from abroad will then not have anything coming in as the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz takes a little while to catch up to the present.

It was also mentioned that the really scary thing is if the bond market reaches 4.5% for a 10 year U.S. Treasury Yield. If it does everyone is going to be in deep doo doo. It already flirted with 4.4% on two occasions in the last 9 days. The bond market is many times more impactful on the economy than the stock market.

Yes, the Iranian leadership is evil but unless the entire regime is removed and changed all this will do is lead to an even more brutal regime in its’s place which will impose worse conditions on the normal Iranian after Western forces leave.

If the U.S. is committed to really getting rid of this theocratic regime it’s got to send in ground troops and it’s quite clear that the U.S. public is not in favour of such an endeavour.

So what is the end goal? Trump didn’t think about how this was all going to end when he began this war. No plan, no strategy, nothing. He just thought that threatening Iran would work and it hasn’t.
