LOL, what a mix of things to get excited about. Boxing and snooker. Can't say it's 2 sports I would imagine many people are passionate about the same time. But if it works for you! Rock on.

Personally Boxing and Ice Hockey are my thing!!

This is what boxng and ice hockey have in common.

* fast paced and can 'score / eng game' at any moment
* the high paced physical demand of the sport
* the contact and 'hits' involved, where fighting is a legal part of an ice hockey game
* the way in which fans jump around, get involced and follow the sport is similar to the boxing community

Now snooker and boxing? I can't overly see what they might have in common, but maybe thats the point?

The only thing that i can see that boxing and snooker have in common is that they are both have become working class sports.
I wouldn t slag off snooker as it is probably the hardest sport i have ever try to play

Boxing and Snooker - 2 Working Class English Sports :TU:

Every Snooker Hall I have ever been in has been a dingy little rat hole, not dissimilar to some Boxing Gyms about!

If it isn't combat sports, football or motorsports I'm not interested.

As Jeremy Clarkson would say "a bunch of drunk men playing billiards"

Yeah but that game is seriously hard. Right up there with boxing in terms of fitness and punishment over a season.

Rugby League certainly is, although down South it's not that common. It's very much a Northern thing, unfortunately.
It's a great sport, and the fans seem a lot more passionate than the Rugby Union crowd.

I only ever had one Rugby Union lesson at school(my fault for not going to Grammar or Private I guess!)and Rugby League was never even mentioned during PE!
