It's better than nothing.
I will just try to avoid the result.
Will they show the full fight, or highlights? Is there going to be any of the undercard shown?

ITV Secures Delayed Rights to Froch V Taylor
Sports fans will get the opportunity to watch delayed coverage of Carl Froch’s first defence of his WBC World Super Middleweight Title against Jermain Taylor on free-to-air television after ITV Sport secured the exclusive delayed rights to broadcast one of the biggest fights of the year less than 24 hours after it takes place.
Britain’s only reigning World Champion will put his belt on the line against former undisputed Middleweight Champ, Taylor at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut this Saturday. The fight will be shown on a delayed basis on ITV4 at 8.30pm on Sunday (April 26th) and repeated on ITV1 at 11.15pm the same evening.
Froch’s title winning thriller against the then unbeaten Jean Pascal was broadcast live on ITV1 last December while ITV4 also broadcasts free-to-air boxing as part of a deal with Froch’s promoter Mick Hennessy.
Recent fights have featured top names from the Hennessey Sports stable including Darren Barker, John O’Donnell, John Murray, Jon Thaxton and heavyweight sensation, Tyson Fury.

What's the 'shouting at the TV' procedure in this circumstance? Is it ok to shout, or not on the basis that it's already happened? But on that basis, can't we shout at anything? Can I shout for Foreman to be more economical with his shots vs Ali, or shout for the ref to disqualify Ali for not throwing back? How much does shouting from home influence the fighters? Surely considerably, if it's ok to shout at the TV during a live event? Thoughts?

From a .Com to terestial/digital tv less than a day later, I'm well chuffed with this news.
Radio 5 live, then next day coverage on ITV, that will do me. Hennessy has done well enough.
I think a bit of persepective has been lost becuase of all the tv saga, but from an historical stand point it's far better that Froch IS boxing Taylor and miss out on live tv in Britain, than NOT defending his world title against someone of the calibre of Taylor and end up boxing some no-hoper.

It's great news; would have been good to get some quotes off Froch about it.

Well done ITV and Hennessy, common sense at last.
Not only is it on at a nice an early time for us boxing fans, but also on a ITV 1 for the lay fans.

Excellent new, excellent indeed!
I don't mind this at all. To be honest - I cannot be arsed sitting up until 6 in the morning to watch fights often these days - by the time the fight comes on, I'm so wazzocked that it becomes a sideshow - much better to watch it with a clear head the next morning.
However, depends how long later it is, if it's 10 at night will be bloody hard to avoiod running into the result somewhere.

Magnificent news. If I stay away from the result, then I can con myself into thinking I'm watching it live. I've done it before with Bruno-Tyson 1!
