He wants to train Haye if Haye beats Wlad and Vitali.

Great point DG.... Haye's right up Manny's street. I'd love Haye to win this because the heavyweight division is in dire need of a champion who's exciting and tries to take care of business. I mean come on, watching the Klitschkos' recent fights has been excruciating.

I think Haye's going to win this one, it's Vitali who poses the bigger threat IMO. I know we all go on about Haye being chinny but I'm not that convinced and dont' think that was a proper knockdown against Barrett, more of a slip/push caused by both guys' momentum and Haye got up and finished it.

I also think Haye tried too hard in that fight and against Klitschko he'll know there's the risk of danger and fight appropriately. I can just see him coming over the top with a big right hand and knocking the big man spark out.

Haye has turned his career around since losing to Carl Thompson and there are quite similar comparisons with Ali, himself a smaller heavy who'd been knocked down by smaller guys, nearly knocked out by Henry Cooper and struggled badly against light heavyweight Doug Jones... he then went and totally bashed up the all-conquering Liston....

It would be great for boxing if Haye won this fight. I like the guy and his attitude to the game, it's refreshing. And he's once again basically going into the lion's den so fair play to him.

Hmm, anyone else on here think that Manny is setting out his stall to make an approach to Haye should he beat Wlad?

I've lost respect for manny over recent years, he is such a whore - he'll say whatever is expedient - the way he behaved when Lennox retired was ludicrous, saying that Lewis should come out of retirement to fight Vitali in a rematch - after saying that he had told lennox to retire in the first place.

I think ALL fighters should be lke Haye, get the best fights you can. Look at our Light Middles of 2001-2005, all good and all kept on the back burner by their Promoters until they were past their best.

Haye is doing what all fighters should do, better to have a short explosive rewarding career than a long drawn out one losing more brain cells each year for little money and reward.

More exciting than ali but i hope wlad wins because i hope haye gets punished for his crap, if haye wins i admit it's better for boxing, wlad could be exciting but most the time he ain't, he shows some brilliances now and then, as haye said he has the ability to be exciting but he choses not to be.

Ali was not a 'smaller heavy' he was one of the bigger heavies of his era. He towered over Sonny Liston, who was at the time considered a physical monster.

Ali's chin was on a different stratosphere to Haye's, he always struggled with smaller guys, stylistically he preferred the bigger slower opponents.
