Froch down in the third, he needs to put pressure on Taylor now as if he lets him get away then Taylor will cruise this.

It's another case of just not being able to step up to the top level. Same thing with Eastman, Woods etc. They might not be everyone's cup of tea, but people like Calzaghe, Hatton and Haye (even if it doesn't work out at HW in the end for him) are very rare and should be appreciated.

Yeah the pace suits Jermaine. We expected Taylor to be a front runner, but Froch needed to be in touch with 6 or 7 to go. At the rate this is going he wont be in touch at all. Needs to up the work rate a lot.

Froch getting outboxed. Hand speed the key to me Taylor faster to the punch from the get go.

Only 5 gone but as its in the states I have this feeling that Froch needs a KO already. He just looks far too casual at this level for me.

I have it 4-2 to taylor at best for froch, 5-2 with the knockdown. Froch has a lot of work to do. Starting to come into it tho.

Great round 8 for Froch then fucked it at the end gave the judges an excuse to give it to Taylor. Froch was doing great, Froch has the power to do this job come on Carl.

Thought Froch dominated the 8th. Taylor lands 2 punches at the end and the main commentator is making out Taylor is about the blitz him.

Commentary is very Taylor-biased, but Froch really needs at least a knockdown to have a chance here now. I think he can do it but agree with earlier guy who said maybe Froch's power aint all that its made out at world level.

Barring a hail Mary punch from Froch which he doesn't look capable of at this level I can only see Taylor winning a pretty clear cut UD. I think the Pascal night will be Carl's highlight night. I just think he wasn't ready for tonight. Taylor is like a country mile ahead of what Carl has faced before.

Yep same story with Hennessey fighters, is lookin a really bad move, should have gradually moved up and took some defences in Nottingham gradually build to the top class.

Agreed mate Id be telling Froch to just be mobbing him from the first to last round, he stood off and let taylor box his own fight for 5-6 rounds then woke up, could all be too late the knockdown could decide it.

Just wanna throw a curve ball and say I'd love it if Froch gets the benefit of a lousy decision. ;;-)
