im liking this coverage.Man Froch is absolutely poor (style wise), has heart and amazing chin, his defense is wack. Im a fan , against heavy hitters, who knows!!

Well, I've managed not to hear the result all day, right now its the break after round 11. Not much point waiting 10 minutes through American Airlines ads and f-ing Eric Cantona to watch round 12, as its obviously going to be a wide points win for Taylor - I'm off down the pub!

I just use the V+ to rewind and rewatch the round or make a cup of tea, they have to pay for the fight somehow lads

The ad breaks were terrible and McGuigans commentary was poor he was on Froch's back the whole fight, even when he turned it around the last 3 rounds. Defo seemed to lose something for not being live.

I'm fairly sure the commentary was from the studio, not from the venue itself.

Yep, the american commentary were less negative about Froch and they were picking on him, McGuigan seemed to take it to a whole new level.

Barry really was that bad am glad everyone else thought so to. Am not sure if he could of mentioned Frochs low hands any more if he tried. Yes we all know but dont tut during a commentary it sounded so amateurish

Yeah, it had a Match of the Day feel to it, certainly.

The long advert breaks were clearly to pay for the actual screening of it. Come on. Long advert breaks is better than not being able to watch it at all, or having to watch a crapopy internet feed. You can't win!

The commentary was added the following day, but allegedly the commenators did not know the result, nor saw the fight in advance.

Sir John of Rawling was in Belfast - allegedly to avoid knowing what happened in the Froch fight.

You lot are a bunch of whining b@stards, really. To be honest, though, it makes me sick. I wonder how many of you have ANY brains at all.

You complain when you have to pay for it via ppv, you cancel your Setanta subscription just because they don't get one fight you want, but then you complain when you have to endure adverts or pay -- gasp! -- a tenner (a whole tenner, less than two packets of tabs) for internet coverage.

I suppose you also complain when you have to pay your TV license, too, eh?

Listen, chaps, people need to make money. If ITV can't make money from adverts in boxing, they'll show something else that they can make money from; if Setanta don't get the subscribers because of their boxing, they'll invest their budget into buying something that does attract subscribers.

Why don't you all come back frm fairy land, where everything in life is for free, and come to terms with the realities of western life, eh?

Alterately, you should consider moving to Belarus.

I don't think some of you will be happy until every fight card is of Ray Leonard -- Tommy Hearns I caliber, televised at prime time, commentated on by Howard Cosell and Harry Carpenter, done with production values that would make NFL Monday Night Football look cheap, and all free to air and without adverts.
