Of all time my favorite is hagler or ali and not just for his boxing he was the first boxer i ever heard of and used to think he was a god the way the aul fella used to talk about him

Nigel Benn always great entertainment.

All time favorite is Tyson, British between Froch and Haye for the the way they approch the sport and world scene its Cotto.

Lennox Lewis is actually my fav of all time.

Currently I would say Haye, because he is bringing some excitement to the heavyweight at last.

i love toney as he's just a bad ass!!who fights in the pocket like no other.

I have, barring a KO against was it Holyfield or someone?? never seen James Toney fight. Everyone raves about him. I'd like to get hold of a DVD on him.
Also Pernell Whittaker sounded useful.

All time - Jack Dempsey. Totally ferocious, hard as nails, ruled in glamourous times when men were allowed to be men, boxing was the king of sports, the Heavyweight Champion of the World was the most famous sportsman in the world, when guys really fought hard and often. Jacks only downside is some protective matchmaking once he won the title. However I love him and the Willard smashing and the the Firpo knockdown thriller. Named my son Harrison in honour of Dempsey

Fav active - none. No one really lights my fire anymore. Like Haye, Mayweather, Pac, Marquez and a couple others but since Lennox retired it is rare that I HAVE to watch any fight. I miss the days of the world stopping when a big fight was on but that might be more to other priorities in my own life rather than something changed in boxing.
