did anyone watch this fight or know where i can watch it? im disapointed by this (though overall im happy thanks to froch)

setanta showed iton the night, but not in the replay.
decision was dubious, but woodhouse was far from convincing

Woodhouse was bad and I cant imagine him winning a British title

I agree it wasn't Curtis' best performance but from close up I thought he got home by 1 round.
Just wating for DVD then take a look from the camera angles.
See if that changes how I saw it.

I had Curtis winning four of the six rounds.

I had Curtis winning he looked poor but i thought he just did enough

i had curtis shading it, but hey, the defeat might do him good in the long run, his defence looked a bit leaky and he shipped more leather than he usually does.

From the corner I was sat in I had Jay up by one, though wouldn't have complained if it had went the other way, it was a very close fight to call. a few other ex-pros that were at the event had it Morris 1 up and 2 of them had curtis 1 up.

I have to say though, Jay did a good job to even keep it as a close match seeing as he was working without his own corner team etc, and had to use a Belfast corner that he probably didn't understand a word from

Yeah, credit to Jay for a good win there.

Good win for Jay, he's our only pro on the Isle of Wight.
Maybe Woodhouse had looked at Jay's last result against McIntyre and thought it would be an easy night.
Well now he knows the pro's are a hard game.

Good words by Woodhouse after the fight, nice to hear.

As for Jay . hopefully he can get a couple more wins under his belt, maybe get a shot at a southern area title, or the masters.

I like Woodhouse's comments in this close defeat, it showed real class. And sometimes such defeats can improve a fighter, focus's them more, gives them a kick in the ass and often makes them easier to match too.
