This should be a pretty comfortable win for Moore, Dzuman is okay but not in Moore's league.

When's Moore gonna win his world title?

For a good year and a half I've felt that Froch and Moore were capable of winning world belts. Froch has done it, they're both around the same age.

moore by dominating stoppage.I really hope his inactivity is behind him and next fight is for a world title.Ive heard cory spinks name mentioned but that fight would probably take place in st louis spinks hometown.

perhaps his best option would be sergio martinez in manchester,a very makeable fight

Yeah it's the same Scott Dixon but don't know how the fight was stopped, as for the Ossie Duran fight I think it was a body shot which took him out, can't be 100% on it.

If I recall it correctly Moore did his leg or hip during the Duran fight - I wouldn't read too much into that result.

He'll have way to much for Dzuman.

Pretty sure it was a hip injury that did for him in the Duran fight.

Just looked up the Duran fight and yes it was a hip injury.

The Duran fight was a hip injury if memory serves and I think Jamie worsened it throwing a big shot during the fight and was virtually a sitting duck after that and was caught by some big shots.

The Dixon fight was early in his career and he fought at a suicidal pace (again if memory serves) and plain and simple punched himself out and had nothing left when Dixon came fighting back.

You have to hand it to Mooresy though an awful lot of fighters would have had big trouble coming back from either, let alone both defeats, to attain the level he has.

He is an absolute credit, he has waited for his chance at the big time but all the while maintaining a dignity that some of our supposed bigger stars could do with to be honest.

Seen Dzuman a few times and I actually think this could be a mini classic as long as it lasts.

Dzuman and Jamie both like a row so its Mooresy for me to grind him down after about 6 rounds.

your right lads hip injury with Duran, done it the week before doing sprints. With hindsight I shouldn't have fought but needed the money! Tried to make the rematch for ages but he wouldn't play out. With Dixon it was an accumulation of things. I'd been trying to make welter for about 7-8 months and was just draining myself, so it was only 10 days before the fight we decided I couldn't make it and we we're moving back up to light middle. plus I was over training because of it. Add to that I was fighting an experiened ex commonwealth champion after 12 fights, and fighting at 100 mile an hour, and it's no surprise I lost. Again I was gonna make the 1st defence of my british against him back in 2003(!!) but he lost a warm up fight to Marcus Portman and then had to retire because of an attack on him. And don't forget that my 1st fight after the Duran fight was my 2nd fight with Mick Jones when I got DQ'd! So I was in a bad situation carrer wise. And my Missus was 3 months pregnant with our 1st baby!! STRESS!!
Then to top it all off, i'm training for my 3rd fight with Jones, my Nan got pneumonia and was in hospital all through my training, I had a 5 week old new born son at the time of the fight, and the day before the fight my Nan died. So to say I'd had a mixed up 12 months would be an understatement.
So all's I need is a world title and the fairytale will be complete. A proper rags to riches story.
Now you don't need to buy the book!!!

Well said, and agreed.

His hip went v Duran, he was in agony in the corner but came back out couldn't get any purchase on his shots and got knocked down. Ref stopped it straight away as could see Mooresy was having difficulties.

This added to the Dixon loss early doors and the bullshit DQ v Michael Jones make his record look worse than it is, and his record is still very good.

I hope the Dzuman fights were okay quality. I didn't get a chance to check them myself but heard nowt from Shaggy which is a good sign.

I remember the hip injury caused Moore to box from an orthodox stance against Duran.

Very frustrating night but thankfully just a memory now.

Whilst I agree - Jamie must treat this as a top fight - any complacency, he could say goodbye to what he has work so hard to get to and thats a world title shot.

Just getting into the ring with Jamie Moore fighting for a world title will be fantastic - winning the title will be what dreams of made of!!!

I really want to see Jamie do it - but he mustn't treat any fight now lightly!!!
