I think this is a tough 1, hard to gage how strong Pac will be at the weight, no common opponents and Ricky is looking allot different with Floyd Sr imo. Allot will depend on how Pac handles Hatton's punches, strength and how Ricky takes Pac's shots.

I'm leaning towards Pac's speed, straighter punching and stamina down the stretch to do it for him. Ricky's strength/workrate/and more varied boxing may well prove me wrong. No outcome will suprise me with this fight

I chose pac by ko but wouldnt be surprised if hatton could last to the end.
The reason for my prediction is pacs punches are so accurate that hatton will be getting hit with far more than usual and thats a lot. If hatton comes and fights like usual and i think he will despite the influence of joy. I think pac is bound to become the greatest philipino and aisian fighter ever , tbh i dont people think what a special talent he is, ashamedly i was one of the people who thought dlh would beat pac but never again will i doubt in pac and roach.

I see Pacquiao outspeeding Hatton and Hatton wont be elosive enough for him and get caught with his flurries and wont be ableto pin Pac down Pacquiao wide UD decision

Do you mean elusive or explosive , youve created a new word. I agree with that but i can see a beating like was given to dlh , now before you all jump on me i now dlh was weight drained and weak but with hattons style he will take punishment , i got my prediction wrong last week so maybe im wrong again but i hope not

Yes that is a genuine concern in my prediction it may be the only way for hatton to win as he is a level below pac. Jesus im starting to sound like a nuthugger

hah. recently every underdog i have picked has won. this has given me confidence to make the above prediction in public. i obviopusly appreciate arguments that say Pac wins and handily at that- i just have the gut feeling pac's relative lesser strength/size and vulnerability to bodyshots- we've all seen him hurt there by smaller men than hatton by now.

I don't think i am a big enough man not to throw some posts in some posters faces if Hatton pulls it off.

and b t w i am no hatton lover by a long stretch. i am of the 'he should have fought witter and could well have been beaten by him' brigade

Hatton late stoppage, this might be a step up too far for Pac.

Hatton to be shocked at speed and accuracy of pacs punches early on but to come into the fight more and use his strengthto KO Pac late on - body shots to take their toll on pac

It's very easy to underrate Ricky because he's got a funny, pasty looking face and likes pies, but he's a deceptively clever, quick fighter. Pacman is a raider - he has the foot speed to get in, land precise shots and skip out again, but I think Hatton is just about fast enough to catch him on the way out. If Hatton can stay with Pacman in the early running and land one shot for every three he takes, I can see him winning by stoppage.

I like the way Hatton is moving judging by the 24/7 clips.... but unless there is some camera trickery Pacquiao looks alot quicker in the hand speed department.

I always try to stay out of predictions but I will make an exception, Hatton Pts or body shot stoppage.

This fight is about two things,
1 Speed
2 Southpaws

Ricky will find it hard.

I'm pretty sure he means the weight, realistically Pacquiao hasn't really fought a live opponent over 130lbs

i recon hopkins would go for who he thinks even though he co-promotes hatton i dont think he'd care who he offends

DLH also goes from hatton - i recon thats sour grapes for being retired by pacquiao

alos he said pacquiao didnt like the pressure morlaes put on him at 135ib ddint they fight at 130 and lower?

Manny to KO Hatton around the 7th round.

I thinkManny wins because he is tight.... He works out hard and is fast. Hatton just goes to the pub and thinks thats enough. Pacioao trains like clubber lang in Rocky 3. Hatton trains like Paulie.... You can tell because Hatton isn't as tight as paciuioa. MAnny pacioua by KO inside 2 rounds.
