Ukrainian heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko is not planning to complete a duel with English boxer David Haye quickly, he claimed. As a reminder, the duel will take place on June 20 2009 at Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. Klitschko intends to knock Haye out in the last, 12th round, Lenta.ru is citing him with reference to BS as saying.

Ukrainian boxer is planning to punish Haye during 11 rounds, he explained. Klitschko presupposed Haye may be knocked down. However, Ukrainian hopes English boxer will be able to go on.

Klitschko-junior emphasized Haye’s T-shirt would become a motivating stimulus for him. As a reminder, Haye carries cut heads of Klitschko brothers in his hands on the T-shirt. Earlier Klitschko promised to make Haye eating the T-shirt after the duel.

Klitschko will be defending titles of the world champion of IBF version (International Box Federation) and WBO (World Boxing Organization) in the duel Klitschko vs. Haye. Earlier Haye claimed if he won at Veltins-Arena, he would be planning to have a duel with Klitschko-senior at the ring.

Looks like his emotions have got the better of him, bad idea maybe!!!, the longer the fight goes on the more chance haye has of landing that big right unless he gets tired and loses power.

You are dead right there, he has to be crazy if he thinks he can just jab away for 12 and Haye won't land during that time. To say something like that his mind is clearly all over the shop.

I genuinely hope Haye comes out bombing because if he does he can and will win this, unfortunately despite his huge confidence I wonder if Haye wants to run the risk of being ko'd himself in the first couple of rounds so he may do his circling type stuff and try the odd blitz. If he does this I can see Wlad getting the jab to work and then landing something solid behind it and it could be all over.

Go for it early David, you do, you can win this.

Wlad will strike when he sees an opportunity. The 12 round crap is just talk. If he sees that Haye is susceptible to a right hand or in danger of being knocked out he will capitalize. I would be very surprised if he goes out there actually looking to fight 12 rounds.

If he can hot Haye he will.

Haye better get on there and stop him, if he loses he is going to look very foolish.

You can be 100% sure he'll be looking to end this ASAP - why give DH the chance over 12 rounds to get lucky.

OK folks, heres the news, Wlad is hardly Jake La motta in the chin area but he has developed a very boring style which means you dont get to him....

When Haye fought Barret he hurt Monte by swinging from row Z...if he does that against Wlad he will be punched into row Z....

If he boxes however he will be outboxed and beaten down painfully....either way Wlad is winning this IMO

Don't. It is all talk. There is no way a fight like this between two big punchers with glass chins and stamina problems goes the distance.
