A lot of people have got a lot of good things to say about Smith - doesn't he work - or at least used to work with Johnny Eames a lot?

spud everything i have heard on Jefferies changing trainer makes me think he was right to do so.

apart from anything else it's obviously in a boxer's best interest to be in the camp in which he feels most comfortable and that he's getting the right levels of attention in. and it would seem a bit presumptuous for any of us- even someone with your rare levels of insight and knowledge- to second-guess the fighter himself who, surely, is in the best position to judge what's best and whaat works for him?

I had a word with him this week and he confirmed there were no hard feelings with Gallagher.

Read Gallagher's side of it, he does have the time to spare, but prefers his fighters to train as a pack. Rather than in individual sessions. You say you could have got more time as an amateur, Gallagher has two British champs and a guy doing well on the ABAs, hardly bad going is it?

yeah he works, he trains his boy's of an evening

gallagher is a fantastic trainer i no at first hand, if jaffa needs more 1 2 1 then thats his deceision but bobby rimmer doesnt compare 2 gallagher, bobby rimmer is a poor billy graham rimmer is unreliable lets c how long this last. good luck 2 jaffa in the future

Hey mate at the end of the day - Team Jaffa have to do what they have to do!! - I am serious when I state I really hope Jaffa does fantastically well - but I write things as I see them and I will continue to do so.

What a lot of people simply cannot handle and thus I do it even more to ruffle feathers is good old honest opinions - they are exactly that opinions!!

As for your threat - had enough of yours and others b*llocks - I am also tired of stating it - time and time again people meet me at shows and things like this forum are discussed - there are only 2 people who directly confronted me at a show about my comments on here in 10 years - Enzo Maccarinelli and Arnie Farnell - Farnell in particular I regard now as a pal - Enzo Maccarinelli fully understood a lot of what is stated on here is stated in jest or under the banner of "boxing banter" and as such is taken that way.

Frank Maloney is a prime example of taking banter very well indeed - he loves to get his own back on me with some banter back & to put me in my place and one of his minnions the lovable "Eric Guy" loves to try his best to fit in too - as do many others - but I stress they know me and I likewise!!!

With regards this thread on Jeffries - I gave an honest and to the point opinion that is all!!!

Now to you Hurlock - your post was b*llocks - you do not know me to have a joke or any form of banter with me - your post was a rather pathetic attempt to fit in with certain members on this forum who love to "bait" me - they are more than welcome to do so - they know me and they know my ways - David Payne, Eric Guy etc etc etc - they enter into the banter and they take it like I have to on numerous occasions - the difference with them and you Hurlock is that they do not hide behind some forum name - we post under the names we are known in boxing - if they wish to correct me which they do on numerous occasions as long as they expect a to the point reply then they are more than welcome as are many other posters on here I know.
