Pacquiao Vs Cotto more likely, says Arum

Promoter Bob Arum told reporters following the Pacquiao/Hatton fight on Saturday night that Pacquiao's next fight will likely be against WBA Welterweight Champion Miguel Cotto in either November or December. He also said that Pacquiao will be seated ringside for Cotto's next fight against Joshua Clottey at Madison Square Garden.
As for Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr., that fight is likely to have some issues. Arum does not get along with Mayweather or his manager, Al Haymon. There are also likely to be conflicts over the money. Mayweather is unlikely to agree to the fight for less than 50% of the money, and Arum is already on record as saying that the fight will only happen if Pacquiao gets the bulk of the money.

i admit i had manny as the underdog against Oscar and though the Hatton fight would be 50-50, so I will reserve judgement on this fight until I see what Cotto looks like against Clottey (which I am not entirley certain he will win).
i really wouldnt want to see him against Clottey though. waaaaayyy too much of a weight difference on fight night.
Any one of Floyd/Mosley/Cotto/JMM will do for Manny next. If he wins against any of them IMO he can retire as one of the best fighters of his time.

Arrum is a c*nt and its his fault Mayweather never faught Cotto/Margarito and now hes blocking another super fight. Hopefully Clottey spoils his party because no way Clottey-Pacman is happening
This may work out nicely though if Mayweather is forced into fighting Mosley, always wanted to see that 1

Cotto KO - if I was Manny I would be careful because I feel if he gets caught properly by a bigger man, then it's goodnight. Hatton landed a half-shot and buzzed him. De la Hoya also said he felt he could hurt Manny but couldn't land.
I would bet money that Cotto would land, thus knock-out.

But I must admit, in Pacquiao's last two fights I have predicted a KO against him. So on that evidence - Pacquiao KO1.
Jesting. Cotto, big KO.

Has to be Cotto in this one. Wicked body puncher. My favourite fighter to watch. Pure Class.

Think Arum is right, if FMJ wanted a fight with Pac he could've waited till after the Hatton fight but instead signed up with JMM (Roach has said the same). I think FMJ will price himself out of a fight with Pac further down the line cos it would be too risky. Hope I'm wrong though.
I also reckon Manny would do Cotto by stoppage.

It`s absurd really. Talking about Pacquiao fighting Cotto. Look at the size difference. It`s like Jamie Moore in against Froch. Crazy.
