Is this on Setanta, they showed the first one.... and then had the rematch scheduled before the postponement. I thought when it was rescheduled it was originally announced as being shown.

I am going for Dawson to actually stop Tarver this time.

I don't think this is on Setanta, Captain Huck is on though!
I personally can't see Dawson stopping Tarver as AT is far too cute, I can just see a repeat of the first encounter where Dawson strolls to a wide UD

Bit of a boring 1 that Dawson was forced to take, I want to see Dawson against Froch, Hopkins, Kessler and I wish he got a shot against Calzaghe. Bad Chad could be a P4P talent

I hate these fecking rematch clauses, because sometimes they throw up shite like this. People go on about Tarver "rematch" record, but Dawson is an amazing talent. I would be very surprised if Tarver made the scorecards tighter, nevermind actually win it.

Pointless fight. One last payday for tarver. I hope Dawson stops him. I like dawson a lot, and I find tarver insufferable.

never underestimate tarver. he does very well in rematches and has never lost one. he's an intelligent fighter with power and dawson has a suspect chin in my opinion.

Can`t say I`m really loosing any sleep over this rematch. I didn`t rate the first effort and I don`t expect this to be any better. Hopefully they`ll suprise us with a real belter.

Actually the commentator said, "Southpaws hate fighting southpaws, because they then know how the orthodox fighter feels when fighting a southpaw", I'm sorry, but that is nonsense. It is like saying that orthodox Vs orthodox is a problem match up.
Agreed, but I guess fighting a SP is the exception even for a SP

Tarver seems to turn into another person when he's ringside or at the press conferences, but iv'e seen footage of him training and being interviewed and he comes across as a decent person, way different form the arrogant arsehole who we normally see. But i agree, i think it's Tarver's last fight and i would go for Dawson to win by a unanimous points decision or a late stoppage.
On another point Lennox, Hopkins says that Dawson has approached him for a possible fight, so how would you see that fight ? I think there is chance that Hopkins could school Dawson, who is still quite raw.

That's a good point -I'm sure Tarver is a nice guy, I just find his ringside/press conference chat a wee bti charmless.
I think Hopkins has too much for Dawson, but then again, Dawson has it in him, if he puts it all together to out work Hopkins. I have to say that I love Hopkins footwork.

i see tarver sticking it out again.
he's a toughy.
dawson on pts.
similar fight to last time probably.
rate dawson highly.
despite his occassional chin lapses.

I have a feeling Tarver might have a slight edge to whatever chance he has, simply because he was hurting Dawson in that last round of the first fight.
It was just a case of Dawson easing off the gas and Tarver throwing the kitchen sink at him in a desperate attempt to get the win, but at the same time he now knows he can hurt Dawson.
Dawson's far more skilled and should win, but it wouldn't surprise me if Tarver took him out.

Tarver only has a punchers chance, the Johnson fight shows what you need to be Chad. That and a punch since Dawson has a shaky chin.

I can't see anything other than a clear Dawson win. Not sure he'll stop him, but there's a decent chance.

Tarver's punch has gone IMO... when's the last time he got a stoppage win. He hit Woods loads of times, never hurt him.

Can't say I'm gonna miss the Ant n Chad show part deux, that much.
Be good to see the back of tarver though, he may be a nice guy, but his EGO even outshines Roy Jones. Must be hard to like, I hear most of his amateur team mates had little time for him.
Good line when he faced up to Jones with "what's your excuse now?" though, have to hand it to him there.
I like Dawson, a shaky chin but he keeps winning. Not a lot going on at LH for him, wonder if Froch might fancy stepping up a division one day?

Dawson will outclass Tarver, just like last time! Chad seems hungry for more success & he doesn't seem like a guy who would become complacent!
As it states in today's BN, the queue to box Dawson is short, very short!

Tarver is what 40? He will last the distance, but I think its as one sided as the first fight, if not more so. Dawson is a humble guy with great skills.
SP v SP are normally good matches, I remember some journalist commenting on how Spinks Judah would be a bore fest, but enjoyed both matches.
