Just wondering whats your thoughts on this fight and does any1 think this will ever happen??

If it happened. Green would have a chance of winning.
Prime Vs Prime Green would get beaten easily. Maybe even stopped. Green has a good chin but Prime RJJ would land straight right hands at will and would probably get a stoppage late.

Green wins, and it was in the works before Green retired.
Prime roy has his way all night with Green. But when you are over the hill and chinny, a puncher like Green will be a nightmare for you.

It would be terrific fight preparation for the Mundine rematch, and isn't/hasn't Roy been intersted in a fight abroad.

prime v prime it's a no brainer............RJJ all the way

but now there is no way RJJ would entertain fighting Danny.

Just wondering what are peoples thoughts on Greens next opponent, any ideas on who he might be fighting, or who you would like him to fight.

I would like him to retire but if he has to fight I would like his next opponent to be someone like Clinton Woods. Very winnable fight against a name opponent (even if he is average and past his average best). However I assume his next opponent will be someone more like Julio Cesar Dominguez.

I really hope he doesn't fight the ARGIE, he should really pursue the big fights.

He means it is something somebody has pulled out of his freckle. Green is not listed to fight anybody at the moment.

This is one reason why to a large degree I stopped being interested in the fight game, and I'd say the same goes for a lot of others. Because rubbish fights such as this one are truly ruining the sport. Jones is well less than half the fighter he was 10 years ago and beating him means nothing

The general public probably has no idea how far gone Jones is and will buy the crap spewed forth if it's signed ("Roy Jones: incredible fighting machine. Roy Jones: one of the best fighters in the world today. Roy Jones: multiple titleholder" etc etc). Die hard fans will see it for what it is and ignore it

Biggest name opponent for a big Australian in a long time? Roy Jones Junior ceased to be a big anything in boxing quite a while ago.
