I believed Hatton was drained. When you saw his body from the side he looked like a stick man, at the weigh in. He has been doing 140 for ages, etc etc
but still a knockout is a knockout and he was knocked out
hatton did say "i'm not goign to fvck the weight up as my good friend oscar did", though

So it was weight
and the training camp problems that caused Hatton to lose.
At this rate I think we could make a case to say he actually won. Manny should grant a rematch at the very least.

I don't think this is an excuse. I mean, jeez, the guy could have come in at 150 and he still would have lost. He's just not as good as Pacquaio, and fought on the night like an idiot.
And besides, that comes from Dougie Fischer, hardly someone with an incentive to make excuses for Hatton.
The only reason I posted this was to show what a mess the camp clearly was.
Anyone think that he had problems like this with Kerry Kayes, who would never, ever dehydrate Hatton?
I think it seems as if every aspect of the build up was handled unprofessionally, and pre-fight rumours are being proven true --including the whispers he was struggling with weight.
