He seems to have totally vanished. has he packed in?

Alex Arthur has to write a note for himself, a bit like Drew Barrymore in 50 First Dates, to remind himself every morning which gym to go to and the name of his trainer, at the bottom of the note is a mobile number of another trainer, just in case he gets bored before lunch-time.

Probably running around Arthur Seat telling himself his career wont be complete till he is a 3 weight world champ. How he achieves this without actually fighting is a mystery though.....

Duh, Alex Arthur doesn't have to fight to become a world champion...

He's preparing for the WBO Interim Imaginary Title fight happening in June. Sky have now put it as chief support for the Khan fight. The audience will be encouraged to imagine the fight happening in the ring which will actually be empty. The judges imagining at ringside will score the fight after 12 rounds and Arthur will be interviewed afterwards, no doubt delighted to be a 'double champ'. Judging by the usual standards of these imaginary contenders, should be an easy night's work for Arthur.

I have never rated him as high as some folk do. But his saving grace is that he was killing himself to make 130lbs, so perhaps that explained him being weak and struggling against Cook and Foster. Or it might be that he's limited at the highest level. More likely.

He should have rematched Gomez after he lost that fight. It would have been huge and he had the ability to outbox and stop Gomez. He has gone the wrong way now and it turns out he was lucky Guzman didn't come over to fight him.

Man,I was going to make so much money on that Guzman fight too. Stoppage odds for Guzman were evens or something ridiculous.
