Love him or hate him martin Rogan has brought a long missing sparkle back to heavyweight boxing in britain not much skill but the heart of a lion , last night he would have fought on even with both eyes closed & with a less cautious Ref & a less humain atitude to his opponent he would have retained the title.I hope this is not the last we see of Martin & return with Sexton is a must & would sell well in Norwich or back in Belfast.after having to watch the likes of Williams,Skelton,Sprott,Harrison cuddle their way through 12 rounds it great to have a guy in there who wants a fight not a dance

His is a great story, no doubt.

Bit out of order about Williams there though. To say Rogan has the heart of a lion then dismiss Williams as a hugger is a tad harsh.
Danny was a better fighter, took his beatings(Klit and Sam)and won many a war, including one with his bleeding arm hanging out the socket!
Over the years he was involved in a few stinkers but he also had some right tear ups.

But that does'nt detract from him being a true fighting man, the Doc was covering his right eye with one hand so he took a chance that he was holding up five on the other one :box: :box:

Thats not correct. The doctor asked Rogie "how many fingers can you see Rogie?" - Rogan replied "none".

 I initially thought he said then. But when I listened closely he replied "none" and when you see his face you could see his face had a look of resignation - as well as bruising!

Martin is one of the good guys, we were all gutted for him but I am 99% certain we havnt seen the last of him. He had a bad night at the office, shit happens, but he will entertain again I am sure of it, or at least I pray he does.

He has brought a smile back and some passion, I personally think he is good for the sport.
