Last minute replacement steps up to the plate'but gets D'qd in a first round thriller.Haumono must have been told to take care of buisness early but unfortunatly got caught in a very early exchange.His apponent then jumped on top of him and continued to hit him whilst he was down.Unsportsmanlike to say the least,ref proceeded to call the fight.comments;

Was at the fight, it was a disgraceful incident from a meathead who has no respect for boxing,should never be allowed to box again.

On a brighter note king davidson showed that he is a star in the making with a great performance at supermiddleweight definately a fighter to watch.

According to "the Fist" the opponent was a 233 pound MMA fighter named Roy Sio.

From the report Sio knocked Haumono down in the first 15 seconds then stood over Solo and hit him on the jaw while he was on the deck. Sio was disqualified and Solo was helped to his feet.

Solo wants to fight Sio again. Solo came in at 248 pounds for the fight.

I suspect Roy Sio is Ray Sefo - Well credentialed Kickboxer & MMA fighter. Will know later today when I get official results

Nope, it's not Sefo who is 38. Roy Sio will be 30 in December. Born in Samoa Dec 13, 1979, trains @ Parramatta PCYC making his pro debut.

3 less than stella performances by Solo in a row. But still no loss, can't be that bad of a fighter.

I think a little more activity this year will do him the world of good.

Solo has ducked Chauncy for the last 2 years, and its becomming increasingly obvious as to why!! We'll fight Solo just give us the call!

Chauncy fights Kelvin Davis July 18th his first fight back in the US for 2 years, hes looking to get active again and the includes fighting the likes of Solo, Kirby, Hoppa and co!

Is it true that Solo once flew to the state's early in his career to meet with King, and King gave $25000 to Solo for this meeting, only for Solo to decline what King had to offer and walked away $25000 richer. Not to many would say they have done that. 8)
