I could get there for about 20:45, but not sure if i'd have missed anything.

Put a few quid on Corbett. Best value of the lot.

Boxing starts at 8pm, you will probably ahve missed at least two fights by 8.45 hon....

I ahve a couple of tickets left, a few are meeting me at the venue to get theirs...

dunstan remains a mystery, its been a long time for terry..

corbett and steeds have no chance in my opinion.

i think the 3 round route is too short for dean francis and his one handed style.

simpson is far far too long in the tooth and along with steeds are the weakest 2 in the competition.

ovill mackenzie is a hard working journeyman.

i think its out of scott, dunstan and francis...any 2 of that 3 to be in the final.

and im choosing dunstan to win it !!!

I think Rhino222 has the right idea. With this group it's easier to work your way through why people will not win than to find reasons why anyone WILL win, and it keeps coming back to Dunstan in my opinion too.



1) Corbett: stands a punchers chance, but logic says if someone can befuddle him for 9 minutes then he loses on points......

2) Francis: just keep thinking that he's a tad too small - and he laboured in his last Cruiserweight fight (although he did win the English title a couple of years back at this weight).

3) Keeton: not active enough and a little too shopworn to do this.

4) Simpson: entertaining to be in there, but not got the hunger or drive for the layout. Shopworn

5) Steeds: not being disrespectful here - but almost too novice, limited.

6) McKenzie: only here to make up the numbers, Krence would have had a better shot.

7) Scott: battered and bruised, shopworn - not explosive enough, out of the ring for too long.




Dont get me wrong, there is no huge list of why Dunstan WILL win this, but the above reasons keep me thinking that the other 7 won't.

I think this is going to be the best yet without any doubt, for the punters this is the place to be and I think you will all get your monies worth.

Am going to this also. Battle of the oldies - may be the most exciting Prizefighter yet, but not sure about the quality. Anyway, not every day one gets to attend a boxing event after work on a Tuesday evening. I think Francis is absolutely amazing value to win outright at 7/4 with Stan James.

Will be watching it on SKY think Francis will win but anyone of them could win its a great line up but i think Francis will win

Been a Dean Francis fan for a long time and hope that wins.

Scott seemed very confident in the interview he did on Bunce's show
I know he has been out for awhile, but he has stopped Keeton twice in the past

im thinking dunstan or scott, used to love corbett when he was coming through the ranks years ago was always entertaining

Neil Simpson isn't going to win for sure. Francis KO'd him in 3 rounds before. He will be Francis first fight in the tournament.

Francis is the obvious choice and I can see why most go for him, he is the best natural talent but putting it simply, is he big enough or strong enough to win three fights with virtually one arm?

Not sure he is and although he should beat Simpson, I don't think that's the gimmee everyone else seems to.

Nah, it cant be buggered. The reason it's going to be the best one is that we actually know and have allegiances to these guys.

Simpson has no chance at all in that one mate.

I've bet on Dunstan to win his first fight and for Francis to win the lot. I'm going and really looking forward to it!

I think there tends to be a bit of leeway with Prizefighter, by a couple of pounds.
