Very good ref i thought, thought that was definatley a draw but i thought Evans might get it for be on home soil. glad to see it scored the way it was.

I thought Evans just shaded it 2 rounds to 1, with 1 even.
But can't argue with the decision.

Ye I thought the same thing but Richie Davies is a brilliant ref never cares about whos the prospect just scores it as he sees it

Evans was very poor i thought, might be too many people patting him on the back telling him how good he is. Maybe this result will be the making of him

Top Ref got it bang on. It wont dont Evans any harm, plenty of time for him.

Duke Mackenzie, who I never got to see box but enjoy as a pundit said "Evans has obviously won this fight barring a KO" ...or words to that effect. Not Duke's best moment IMO.

I think they were just assuming a bog-standard hometown verdict.

i think Duke thought he'd get the decision rather than that he'd deserved it. it was a dreadful performance by evans.

Duke was a very good technical boxer, would throw every punch correctly

Was Duke also the guy who said Hopkins shouldn't be on the P4P list and Ricky would be #1 if he beat Pacquiao or was that Johnny Nelson?

Richie is our best ref by a million miles and an unbiased judge. Didn't bottle it in Italy last week when Fragomeni got a draw

his jab was also excellent. Pete Buckley mentions it when asked who hit him hardest. 'like getting hit in the face with a broomhandle'
