Who springs to mind when we think of journeymen? Me, I, being from England, think of Tony Booth, Delroy Spencer, Matt Scriven, etc etc

Cliff Couser and Sedreck Fields

But who are the best journeymen/gatekeepers in history?

David Tua. Sad to say considering he probably has the best win/lose record against modern day high caliber heavyweights today, but his time has passed him by, and he's more or less a guy you have to beat in order to consider yourself a real contender.

Ross Purrity is another one. He more or less fought them all. So did Danny Wofford.

George "Scrapiron" Johnson.
He was not a guy who was belted right out of there.
He gave everyone hell.
Check his resume out.

I always kinda pegged Paea Wolfgramm as a journeyman of sorts, despite his Olympic medal

Ditto for Pete Rademacher, and same for Roy Harris though he wasnt an Olympian
