After nathans recent bout, what are people thought about cleverly?
do you think he can go all the way?
or just be really good at domestic and european level?

His recent fights have really impressed me his power has come on leaps and bounds he has good boxing skills but my only worry about him is he is easily drawing into a fight maybe at the top level they could punish him for that but so far i think hes a very exciting prospect

I personally like Cleverly and think he has a decent chance of winning a world title. Don't think he can mix it with the big boys at Light Heavy yet, but he is still young. The only thing is, he is promoted by Fwank, and he will probably end up fighting for a vacant title, or fighting someone washed up, and probably wont take any big fights until he has defended a few times.

But, having said that. I think he has some decent skills and should be a World Champ at some point, but he needs to start stepping the up the quality of his opposition soon.

He's promising but his recent bouts have been nice matches for him to look good on Friday Fight Night. i don't think we have learnt that much more about him but he is ticking over and keeps winning in a good way against lesser foes so he can't do much more. He will need some sterner tests soon.

He aint no light heavy, and his confidence is just being built up .
Wait til he in with a proper light heavy, but which ones are good enough , I dont know.
Mc intosh has a chance but he is still a raw .
He has fought no one of any real significance since his Oakey win , and only done about 6 rounds in total.
He aint no banger thats for sure .

I've become more and more impressed with Nathan Cleverly. He has clearly improved over the past year. I'm still not sure how far he can go, though. I hope the fight with McInstosh goes ahead and Cleverly wins decisively.

I`d rate him as probably one of the hottest prospects in the country at the moment .. isn`t he only 22?

His power seems to have really improved, is that something to do with the new trainer? .. because he now looks nothing physically like a calzaghe trained fighter  .. I think he will fill into a big strong lt-heavy within the next 18mths, as long as he`s not rushed and given the correct matches - I think he has a real good chance of mixing it in world class.

He's definitely improving. The lhw division isnt the strongest, my the time he is ready for the big fights you'd assume people like RJJ, Hopkins and Woods will have departed so I can see him winning a world title at some stage.

I'm consistantly impressed with Cleverleys performances (if not his oppos), we still need to see how his chin will hold up, but I think he'll go far in the game.

got to say i think cleverly is getting better and better with each fight.

but got to say i thought boyle was none existent. fair play on paper he had a good record but he looked exactly like some1 who has only been boxing 3 years.

how can some 1 as bad as that get a shot at the title.

cleverly can only beat whats put infront of him, but i think he needs to step up the caliber of opponent.

i think bellew v cleverly will be a great fight! (if it happens) :box:
