Greatest Lineal Heavyweight Champion (Part 4)

I'm listing every lineal champion (according to most sources) from start to finish, even if they may not deserve a place on the list. That way, no one is upset their favorite didn't make the cut.
If you don't like anyone on this list for the greatest, !!!!VOTE NONE OF THE ABOVE!!!!
I have placed all the rest of the lineal champs in other threads denoted as (Part *) [2,3,etc]. If you don't like someone from THIS list, vote none of the above or don't vote here and go vote on one of the other threads.
Daily or so I'll tally up the whole thing overall and place the results on each of the threads.
PLEASE don't choose on more than one thread, as that would ruin the idea of the poll. Thanks.

Boxerbob,
If you haven't, which it appears you may not have, I'd ask that you read the first post in this poll. This is not a poll to determine the best heavyweight of these 9 champions, it is a part (1/4) of a larger poll to determine the greatest lineal champ of them all. I realize, in THIS list of nine competitors, Holyfield could well be the best, but it's not just these nine competitors involved.

Mate, I think you will find that most people are treating them as 4 seperate polls.
You need to think up a better way of asking the question.
Then again, why bother? It's been done 500 times in here already under "Who was the best heavyweight champ?" and similar questions. It's always comes down to a discussion involving the same half a dozen guys. The other 30 or so on your list are pretty much irrelevant in this context.
Sure, someone voted for Carnera but I bet they don't really believe that...

Of those ones on that list I heartily concur.

Several of these fighters don't even belong in this discussion your question is really more, who is the best Champion of the last 20 years, instead of who is the best Champion, Shannon Briggs, Hasim Rahman, Buster Douglas were all mediocre fighters that happened to catch a great fighter on a bad night, in the case of Briggs a great old fighter. They don't even belong in the discussion.

Apparentely SOMEONE thought enough of Shannon to give him their vote. Love to hear the reasoning behind that. Maybe because he is boxing's Lou Gehrig? He did suffer from Asthma.
