Witter said if they both win world titles Khan will appear on his radar and he'd knock Khan out in 3 rounds.
Thoughts ?

Witter is right, he'd spark Khan with the first decent shot he lands on that chin(and he will land that punch eventually).

and thats why - if Khan wins his next fight he won`t be hanging onto the title.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Khan do Witter at this stage lads... hard as it is for me to say.

The only way Witter will be allowed to fight Khan is if Witter looks shot.
If Witter wins a world title, Khan will be kept away from him, without question.

Jesus.. Witter would pole-axe Khan.
Keep Amir well away from Junior , it would last a max of 3 rounds.
Amir has the worst chin in the history of Boxing,
The last thing to go in a fighter is his punch, so even if Witter would be shot to bits (and I dont think he is)
he still beats Amir

Dont be thick mate, Khan vs Witter would be competitive until Witter landed a big bomb but could he?

Witter is not shot, but he does appear past his peak.
Let`s give Khan some credit here, OK his chin might be suspect, but he was caught very cold by Prescott. He has got up off the floor to win in his other fights where he was put down.
I believe Khan has improved tremendously under Freddy Roach and is a genuinely talented fighter with great offensive skills. I would take him to beat Witter at this stage of Witter`s career.
Any fighter can get caught cold like the Prescott fight, he has regrouped since and made the neccessary improvements. Give the lad a break. I`m not saying he is the next coming of Sugar Ray Leonard, but he is one of the best we have at the moment.

Would Warren want to put Khan in with Witter though?

Once again on here we have Witter being lauded as some all conquering Mr Invincible....
If he lands a big shot maybe he takes Khan out, otherwise Khan would win easily IMO based on form.
I agree with Teddy, it's whether he can land it, and if he's 4/5 rounds down at the mid-point and looking to headhunt then he could get desperate and get clocked himself.

I can see two outcomes, Khan throwing fast combos at a lethargic Witter who is struggling to get his shots off on route to a wide UD, and Witter fighting aggressively and landing a big wide shot around Khan's long punches and sending him into next week.
Both guys have big flaws to their game which imo make it a great fight on paper. That said Khan should in no way be looking past Kotelnik

Yeah, he still has to win the world title, as does Witter...

Whose best win, Witter's? I don't think he'll beat Alexander either....

Teddy - me old pal!!!
Khan has me confused - offensively he is world class - definsively not so sure!! - his chin certainly is a worry - and lets face Witter throws punches from all angles which would trouble Khan.
Its a bloody good fight to make - but one that I sincerely hope Junior Witter would win!!

Witter will ko khan everyday of the week as soon as khan starts throwing his combos of three four shots Witter will counter and its lights out khan is not the type of boxer to trouble Junior

people talk about witter as a counterpuncher but i've rewatched some of his fights recently and I'm not so sure.
seems to me he's always had a tendency to shut up shop when being attacked, rather than throwing counters. i sometimes wonder if what Witter does in terms of unorthodox movement/ angles, trying to snakecharm the opponent into passivity BEFORE throwing the big shot, gets (wrongly?) taken for counterpunching. I didn't see him throwing many counters against Kotelnik in those last 6 rounds or so and Kotelnik was in hitting distance most of the time, pressing forward. to me the fabled counterpunching Witter would have loosed a few off there..... anyways to me the most effective punches witter throws are big shots moving in off the front foot and he ain't so tidy on the back foot at all.

I supect that neither of them will win their title fights though.
If they did fight ech other it would be ugly though. Witter will be his usual akward hard to hit self but equally poor timing, horrible one punch missing self going forward.

Based on what? Your biased opinion?
He struggles with guys who punch him back....
Khan will punch him back, is fresher, has a better attitude and has decent power.
Witter would have to rely on a bingo punch, he's a lazy git.
