Fantasy Boxing Sim (Not boxrec sim ) - Just for fun -experim

Just wanted to run a fantasy game on my title bout game for the fun of the british boxing forum only .
ill do a quick run down below .
what i want from you to take part is a name for you fighter , his hometown , a nickname if required (optional) stance (southpaw or orthadox) and an emphasis point , eg describe them in a couple of words such as HARD HITTER or GRANITE CHIN , etc etc so i know which skills should be emphasised (all other skills will be equal for all fantasy fighters). other than that all fighters will be aged 20 at start and in heavyweight division( might be able to add different weight fighters to stable at later date ) also all fighters must be british for now. the idea is your basically his promotor
THE STORY SO FAR .........
The curent date is 4th august 2011 and the boxing world has canged for the better since the global recession , the power the TV stations possess has helped them win the war on sports shows to help them only show top notch events , this means they can have far more say on who fights who in boxing , this has severly effected the way the paying public think and they are far less interested in the "0" now but it still looks good on the end of a record , although the lack of importance has stopped people padding their record and now they take the best available fights to help them progress up the rankings quickest , thats the way the tv companys dictate how much a fights worth to them so the fighters get good paydays for everyfight and each fighter earns what hes due.
theres also been some shifting in the sanctioning bodies too , with now only ever one champ per body and some national and regional titles have even merged to make themselves more appealing . the WBU and WBF though are still seen as lesser titles but are used as an important tool to groom future champs rather than just to sell tickets . theres also now a trend to continue into an older age like holyfield although any fighter having had 60 bouts or more must have severe health tests after each and every fight , ones that can forcibly retire someone although this is usally not neccessary as the lack of importance in records now means fighters generally drift away when there past their best through the way the sport has evolved , although a good record is still something the fighters themselves like to be proud of .
Domestically Danny Williams , Audley Harrison and Matt Skelton have all made recent comebacks but only skelton having any succes of note , also David Haye has had his chin found out having been stopped by Valuev , Arreola , Skelton and Dimitrenko along with a unanimous defeat to Kali Meehan but most humiliating was a defeat in his last bout to fellow brit Zahid Kohut on a majority decision.

ALL FIGHTERS WILL START AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BRITISH RANKINGS AND FIGHT NIGHTS WILL TAKE PLACE EVERY MONDAY WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY UNLESS STATED . THE TV STATIONS WILL OFFER ALL FANTASY FIGHTERS THE CHOICE OF 3 OPPONENTS , IF SOMEONE ELSE TAKES A FIGHT WITH YOUR OPPONENT BEFORE YOU DO THEN YOULL FIGHT ONE OF THE OTHER 2 OPTIONS . THE DEADLINE FOR ENTRY WILL BE 8PM TOMORROW (SAT ) SO THAT THE TV COMPANIES CAN MAKE THEIR BOUT OFFERS , AFTERWARDS ALL BOUT WILL BE OFFERED THE SAME NIGHT AS THEIR LAST BOUT , ANY FIGHTER NOT ACCEPTING AN OFFER OF BOUT WILL NOT FIGHT ON THAT OCCASION , ANY FIGHTER WANTING TO OFFER A PARTICULAR FIGHTER A BOUT FANTASY OR NOT MUST SUBMIT THE OFFER BEFORE THE SCHEDULED FIGHT TIME ( 8PM ON FIGHT NIGHT )
NEWS ON OTHER MAJOR FIGHTS WILL ALSO BE REPORTED ON FIGHT NIGHTS.

Not sure how this works mate :D

Seems a bit jumbled up ? Is it your own idea ? How do you work out who wins and how ?

Needs a bit more explaining ? What's all the stuff about tv companies ?

What is this simulation game ? What format ? PC, X-BOX, PLAYSTATION ?

Is it not the same as creating loads of different fighters on playstaion fight night games and set it up so they fight each other, without you using the controls and then writing down the results and forming a league table ? How will you go about developing the transparency of the game, if people can't see their fighter, when he takes on his opponent ?

It needs a lot of work, if it's to be successful on a forum like this......

THE SIMULATION GAME TITLE BOUT IS ON PC . BASICALLY THE WHOLE FIGHT IS PRODUCED IN WORDS AND ALSO THE WHOLE BILLS RESULTS ARE AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED AND CAN BE UPLOADED TO INTERNET , BUT TO BE HONEST ITS AS MUCH FOR MY OWN ENJOYMENT AS ANYONE PLAYING SO THERES NO POINT IN ME "FIXING IT " FOR EXAMPLE . ANY ONE WHOS GOT THE GAME WILL UNDERSTAND HOW IT WORKS BUT IM NO COMPUTER PROGRAMMER SO ITS DIFFICULT FOR ME TO EXPLAIN IN GREAT DETAIL.

I am chilled, just merely pointing it out. :TU:

No offence but you probably couldn't compete with BRS but everyone is welcome to join if you fancy it? Managing is so much easier than running it anyway.

chill out mate, just having the craic with you. Do you mainly post in Current Scene? You seem a little tense for the British crowd. Feel free to post your thread in BRS, another poster (Cap) does that.

Once again for the hard of reading, I'm only having a laugh with you.

HI MPG THANKS FOR JOINING , PLEASE BE AWARE YOU SHOULD MAYBE CHANGE YOUR BIRTH PLACE TO BELFAST AS DUBLIN WOULD BE IRELAND NOT NORTHERN IRELAND AND INELIGIBLE FOR THE BRITISH TITLE . BUT YOU CAN KEEP DUBLIN IF YOU WANT , JUST MEANS NO BRITISH TITLE .

YOUR OPTIONS FOR 1ST BOUT ARE
LUCAS LADBROOKE (ENG) 1-1-0
ERIK WIDEMAN (SWE) 0-9-0
BAILEY WADLAND (MAL) 0-2-0
ALL YET TO BE RANKED AS THEY HAVE HAD UNDER 10 BOUTS.
