If the intimidation tactics claims are true then the fight should be declared a no contest

They send the dvd with no sound(barry micheals ass licking) to 3 independent judges overseas..if all three judges say that Geale won then a re-match will happen!
then Geale will KTFO Mundine..he will be the smarter one in a re-match!

In an email obtained by The Sunday Telegraph, respected British judge Marcus McDonnell confirmed he was subjected to verbal abuse during Mundine's split-points decision against Daniel Geale in last Wednesday night's IBO middleweight title fight.
The Mundine fan hurling the abuse has been identified as the NRL's serial pest "The Phantom Siren'', a renowned St George Illawarra supporter.
Understandably, The Phantom Siren could not be contacted for comment yesterday.
At the end of the fight, McDonnell's scorecard read 114-113 to Mundine. The Geale camp intend to lodge a protest, claiming McDonnell was intimidated.
"For the future, judges of IBO contests when involved in a Mundine fight, they do need to be protected. We can't have people behind us calling us names. Lucky I'm a thick-skinned Pom,'' McDonnell wrote.
"One thing I need to clear up from the paper. Only one guy gave me a hard time, not lots as the reporter says, when I was scoring.
"But that's boxing, it happens. Yes, he did call me a racist, but to his credit he came and said sorry after the contest. Interesting to see how he would have been if Mundine had lost.''
Issues continue to emerge out of the Brisbane Entertainment Centre bout, where the ring announcer incorrectly read American judge Rich Green's scorecard as 115-113 to Geale.
The Sunday Telegraph has obtained a round-by-round breakdown of all three judges' scorecards, which show Green scored the fight 115-112 to Geale. Interestingly, out of 12 rounds, the judges shared the same score in only four.
The Geale camp continue to fume over the decision and have 30 days to write a letter of protest to the IBO's Florida headquarters, something manager Bill Tracy has confirmed he will pursue.
IBO president Ed Levine has been monitoring the situation and will order three new judges to re-score the bout if the Geale camp's protest is upheld.
The new judges will be ordered to watch the fight with the commentary turned off.
Another major issue for the Geale camp was the way referee Garry Dean stopped the fight on five occasions between rounds six and 10 to allow Mundine's corner to fix some loose tape on his glove _ not once was he docked a point.
They stoppages gave Mundine, who appeared far more fatigued between rounds than Geale, vital seconds to recover.
Under IBO rules, if referee Dean had deemed the loose tape to be a deliberate ploy, Mundine could have been docked a point, meaning the fight would have ended up being declared a draw.
The Sunday Telegraph has obtained an email from Rich Green, the IBO judge flown in from the US for the fight.
``A friend of mine called last night after I got back to Miami. He says there are reports that Mundine's people were intimidating the judges,'' Green wrote.
``Funny, I never felt intimidated.
``Obviously my score showed that but perhaps the comments they were making at ringside were overheard by the reporters.''
Under the terms of the contract signed by Mundine and Geale, there is a 90-day clause to schedule a rematch.
IBO fight supervisor Phil Austin said a rematch may be ordered if the Geale protest is upheld.
``If all three judges in the review score in favour of Geale then the rematch has to happen,'' Austin said yesterday.
``They will send the DVD to three independent judges, who will all score the fight with the volume off.
``We all know commentary can be misleading, even for experienced judges.
``I've spoken with Mr Levine this morning and received an email from him. Mr Levine's had a look at the scorecards and he said he's very happy with the way they read across the board.''

IBO vice president Phil Austin says three independent judges will be given copies of the fight to score.
"If their appeal is upheld then a re-match would be mandated. We would advise, Khoder Nasser, Mr Mundine's manager, that the grievance panel has found in favour of Daniel Geale," he said.!!!

One thing that suprises me with this whole situation is, Why are any of the officials speaking to the media. They should shut up shop and wait for the Review panel to make a judgement. The media are dogs IMO and should be told to get fucked.
I think its not the judges place to say anything and i know if it was me in there situation i would be telling the Media to get fucked. The IBO could make a statement but the individual Judges shouldn't.

It would appear Austin has made the comment re what is being done regarding an inquiry and the judges are making comments to the media whilst assisting in the inquiry. Very odd. Has a decision been made final on this ?? I understand there was something in the media today ??

Yeh i got no Problem with Phil saying his bit as the IBO represtentive. I just think the officials shouldn't say anything. Especially considering the Protest is still going on.

Didn't Phil say he was pretty happy with how the judges scored the cards?

i reckon the protest will be upheld.
I see all 3 judges giving it to Geale.
My opinion.
As I said originally seeing the fight live I thought Mundine victory or draw.I still have to watch it on t.v..waiting for copy.
I reckon Mundine wont get the fights he expects overseas and will realize he will make enough in Geale & Green re-matches then go overseas late 2010.

here's hoping he gives Geale a rematch. Highly unlikely though.
And here's hoping Mundine makes Green wait so long Danny forgets about Choc and goes after some decent international light heavy's and targets a belt!! Will we ever see what Mundine can do on the international stage (no, not Sven Ottke pics) ??

GEALE WAS ROBBED: I rewatched the controversial Mundine-Geale fight of last Wednesday earlier today in peace and quiet without the biased commentary team in my ear or a bunch of drunk morons shouting shit like ‘farrrrken killllllimmmm!’ The result, a fairly one sided scorecard for Daniel Geale. I still think a lot of the rounds were close, but I still think Geale was the aggressor for the entire fight, as well as landing the cleaner punches and doing the better job of blocking punches out of the two of them. It really is a different fight to watch without the moronic ramblings of Barry Michael and Andy Raymond (and to a much lesser extent Paul Upham). I suggest it to everyone who has an interest in this fight to rewatch the fight with no sound and to write each round score on a different sheet of paper and then fold it up and tally your scorecard up at the end of the fight and see how it comes out. Here is how I scored the fight:
Rn.d Geale vs Mundine
1 10 - 9
2 8 - 10
3 10 - 9
4 10 - 9
5 10 - 9
6 10 - 9
7 10 - 9
8 9 - 10
9 10 - 9
10 9 - 10
11 10 - 9
12 10 - 9
Geale 116 < Total > 111 Mundine
Now there’s a couple of rounds that could swing either way, but I really find it hard to score that fight for Mundine. Geale basically outworked him and outpunched him for the majority of the 12 rounds and while Mundine had his moments, they were smothered in Geale’s workrate throughout the entire fight. If there’s a round you disagree with me on, please feel free to flame me in the comments section and I’ll be more then happy to respond and if you hate my scoring that much please post it on a message board somewhere, I could do with the extra viewers.

I recorded it on fox IQ and had the next day off from work with a hangover and rewatched it with no sound, i agree i thought Geale won the fight and i should of been out of pocket with a Geale decision.
