Hey Guys, really interested to hear who you think are our best prospects coming through?

Stephen Smith without a shadow of a doubt. I really like the look of Swifty and slipping in via the back door avoiding the Olympians fan fare migfht help reduce the pressure on him.
Scott Quigg I liked the look of.
Martin Murray is another.

Don't forget the Olympians, Price, Jeffries, Degale, Sutherland, Saunders, Gavin, Murray, some great talent there

At 22 can Khan still be in the prospect box? Admitedly he's fighting for a world title this month, but still.

think the 2 biggest are swifty an george groves, joe selkirk is another but not heard about him in awhile think hes got fragile hands

Yeah, sorry, I meant to say "not including the Olympians"!! - Some super talent. Saunders especially I reckon.

cleverly - not enough power and as u say not elusive enough. decent fighter but not top class i don't think.
brook - he's unlucky he's around the likes of cotto, mosley, berto etc. he's got some talent but not enough for that lot.
cox - same problem as brook.
degale and BJ saunders look the best prospects.
still early days for those guys though.

George Groves and Stephen Smith have looked particularly impressive so far.
Billy Joe Saunders, Tyson Fury, James Degale, Travis Dickinson, and Darren Sutherland have also looked rather impressive, etc.
Steve “Super Bad” Barnes looks good aswell.
The middleweight scene is the one to watch.

Chisora is OK but Fury would beat him. Price has a lot to prove yet as a pro, so we simply dont know yet how good he is. Cant see Sexton going too far. That makes Fury our best chance for the future at HW.

Super Middleweight has exciting times ahead DeGale Groves Sutherland Jeffries also i like the look of Cleverly he has a really bright future and this is a great set of Olympians and Jamie Cox isn't very good he's dirty and has poor boxing skills Brook would be far to much for him

I've named a few below who i'm excited/interested in. Feel free to tell me i'm wrong or point out who i've missed.
Heavyweight:
Fury - Early days of course, power is questionable and he needs to trim up still but is looking better every fight. What I like about him though is that he has a jab that he uses. Audley used to bang on about his 'skills' but i never saw them. This kid really uses the jab to good effect and everything comes off that. Some nice variety to his attacks too. And crucially, he's FIGHTING REGULARLY. Compare that to David Price who's still only fought once so far.
Elsewhere, Chisora has potential considering he's already stopped Sexton and Warren is plugging him big time but looks like the fight with Williams is off so that's a big chance to see him step up missed. I'm not sure about him, would be good to hear from any really avid supporters.
Cruiserweight:
Tony Bellew - Great amateur pedigree and he's had a bright start stopping 6 of 9 guys.
Light-Heavy:
Nathan Cleverly - He's the obvious choice and should he beat undefeated McIntosh for the British title then he'll step up a level or two. Personally I'm not convinced by him. He doesn't look elusive enough and I think the domestic competition is weak in his weight category so he hasn't really been tested but has looked good. But I think he'll be involved in wars he wont always win because of that lack of power.
Super-Middle:
Kenny Anderson - stopped 7 of 10 guys so far
Light-Middle:
Matthew Hall - Now this is a guy I REALLY like the look of. Demolished Bradley Pryce on the Khan-Barrera undercard and now straight away he's been matched with Anthony Small who is a very credible fighter. Fingers crossed he can win that and move on from the domestic level quite quickly onto guys like Mora who I really think he could beat.
Welterweight:
Kell Brook - One of a few in this division who's starting to look quite promising. He comes from the Ingle gym of switch-hitters that bred Naz and Witter and is a similar sort of fighter who seems to have good power in both hands. One worry with him is he does tend stand a bit upright on occasions and leave his chin out (a similar problem to Witter - is this a flaw in the Ingle style anyone?) and whilst he is elusive for the most part, you worry about him doing that against better opposition. He's already been dropped once - by Karl David.
Jamie Cox - Good amateur, now just starting to take on better level fighters. Will be one to watch over next 18months.
Lower down there's Murray, Broadhurst, & Lindsay but I know less about them.
Kenny Anderson is rubbish, no one struggles like he did in his last fight which I felt he lost. Matthew Hall is good and I would love him to move off from the domestic scene(which i think he will)

some great names there i think another who is craig lyon he is a quality fighter coming on quietly the guy has non stop energy and also joe selkirk who was a brilliant amateur who i used to enjoy watching even thou not seen much of him as a pro.

I watched Matthew get KOd by Conception. But I felt at the time he'd come back. I think he's quality, but not a prospect to me as he's now champion. Not big enough for the divison to go into world level imo.

Agree with the Anderson comment, he was rank rotten last time out, a real disappointment.
I thought he was a real prospect after the commonwealths when he turned pro but he has not had enough fights and doesn't look he has really progressed at all in the fights he has had. He will get overtaken by the olympians etc. pretty soon I think. Maybe he will end up a gatekeeper for the move out of domestic class for these guys?

At heavyweight, I think our best prospects are David Price and Tyson Fury. Elsewhere, I've been impressed with George Groves and Billy Joe Saunders. We have a lot of good prospects and are going to get some surprises in the next few years as these guys step up (of course, some won't, hey Frank?)

I mentioned him above and I've been very impressed with him. He seems very calm, relaxed and comfortable in the ring. He was on the Mcdermott v Barker card in Watford. Top prospect.

By the looks of things he is someone to look out for, I just hope he keeps his feet on the ground and if he dont their is someone to give him a smack around the ear when needed.

Kenny Anderson broke a rib in the 3rd round of his last fight, you can not judge him on that fight, fighting 7 rounds so badly injured says a lot about somebody. He would handle any of the British super middle weights easily.
Groves is chinny and will be found out shortly.
Jamie Cox imo would give Brooke a very hard nights work once he has more experience, and would stand a good chance of beating him.

Been told the 2 olympians Sutherland and Jeffries box in sunderland in July.

You are delusional, and Steve Barnes is sh!t as well, Iknow he's only 18 but so what he doesn't have that thing that calss prospects have.
