Doesn't look to bad at all does it? Its nice to see scott smiling, he looks in terrific shape too.

I hope he manages to get he's carreer back on track when he's released.

will the board license him after all the adverse publicity he has brought to the sport?

I think that the board's stance on him has been over the top and hypocritical. Ok, so Scott is an addict and as such he has a habit of not really taking enough responsibility for his own actions, but if he can pass the relevant medicals he should be allowed to fight in Britain.
Let's not forget that Tyson is a convicted rapist and was allowed to fight in this country.
Johnny Tapia was also allowed to fight over here, and he's had a lifestyle that makes Scott Harrison look like someone who just enjoys unwinding with a cheeky pint.

Very true - good points.

I would like to see him get his license back (boxing seems to keep him stable - he needs the discipline of the sport) but I am not sure the board will give him a license - others have previously fallen foul of their stance.

Pitty the foo who gets him in the EBF then, cos they'll let him fight, no doubt.

I think the board will license him again, normally they will went sentances are served, be that jail, tag, community service etc just as long as he can show he is fit and willing.
I noticed on one of these EBF sort promotions next month that Floyd Havard, Scott Macdonald and Rocky Muscas are all fighting

They gave Terry dunstan his licence back so dont see why not

Cant see him boxing again unless he gets quick release
i think he got 2 1/2 years but could be out in 8 months or so.

I disagree completely.

Scott's case has to be assessed on the facts - the truth is that since his licence was revoked he's had numerous outstanding criminal matters hanging over him and he continued (without fail) to get himself jailed on mulitple occasions and commit further criminal offences. Tapia and Tyson's situations simply dont compare for neither of them had any criminal matters pending in this country when they were sanctioned to fight by the BBBoC.

Yeah financially he needs to fight again and I think he needs boxing in his life to stay out of trouble

First of all i'm not a fan of his, in fact given the way he bahaves , i don't think they gave him long enough in jail , He's nothing short of a drunken drugged facked bully , who deserves everything he got plus more,

But with saying that , they did allow Tyson here in to box , so by sanctioning Tyson they took the attitude he had serverd his time and was allowed to start again , There should be NO INCONSISTITY. They allow one they should allow the other .

Point being will they
, answer i doubt it ,
Question WHY
, Answer because the bunch off inconsitsent , creeping arse licking old facca's don't give afack about Harrison, shaking there hand, and having his photo with them . Where Iron Mike Tyson , is a different story shake his hand at the after fight party , tell there kids, and grandkids, how they met him , bla bla bla, not too mention , higher profile , HIGHER FEE'S

Yea but if Warren promotes him then he will have absolutley no problem getting his licence back.

That aside im sure if there is no outstanding cases to answer for
then think there is some european law that means the board cant stop him from working

Could be wrong but that was the chants i heard from some Paper talk from there camp.

Exactly. The board is in Warrens pocket after he loaned them a lot of money a few years back. Thats why his fighters will always get unfair treatment.

sure i read a few months back, that as long as scott harrison has no charges to answer, he will be granted his licence back!
only reasoni think that he never got it back previously was due to outstanging charegs/warrants in spain!

unfortunately I don't think he could keep himself out of trouble long enough for any sort of a sustained comeback, or certainly that is the impression you get.

I think he could, the problem is the age he's at now it wouldn't allow for any sort of a sustained comeback.

Maybe he could keep out of trouble but it seems to me all he has to do is walk into a bar to get in a fight..now whether that's his doing or not I don't know...I wouldn't be in any rush to have a set to with him.

Disagree on the age thing, I think if you're in shape and possess the ability/ drive, there is still a career out there for him if he wishes (licence permitting etc)

only 2 things I don't know anything about...his bank balance, i.e. does he really want/ need to comeback? And also I've never been an alcoholic, which it has been reported that Scott is....I don't know how that might have affected him physically. I've always managed to get my fill without becoming an alcy thankfully, I think any comeback he would have to be sensible enough ro reassess his goals i.e. domestic/ maybe Euro success.........a former World Champ's not going to go for that is he, but that is his reality IMO.

another thing is his well documented weight making issues. what weight would he fight at, super middleweight? :P
