Despite being verbally abused by Mr Haye on numerous occasions (granted Haye was just trying to generate publicity for the fight), His quote on Haye missing the fight was:

“It is sad that David cannot compete. However, I am looking into the future and forward to fighting against Ruslan. He is WBA Champion, very experienced and a tough challenger. For my preparation, I have to change my sparring partner from orthodox to southpaw,”

That is a classy and professional attitude :-)

Yes, all true, but that attitude also makes him pretty boring to watch. He lacks what Jim Watt would term 'devil.'

His brother Vitali is a bit more spiteful out of the ring, and certainly inside of it. Their knockout ratio reflects this.

I'm all for class, but Wlad is so cautious inside the ring and I think that's a part of his personality.

I have to agree "The Klitshchko's" have a lot of class - but for me in boxing terms they are boring as hell - where as David Haye brings much needed hype and excitement which unfortunately the sport is sadly lacking !!!

100% correct mate, Gutted about this fight but hey ho time to move onward's....The next 6 month's will be very interesting me think's.

Plus the guy could of took an easy match on the 20th after Haye pulled out, instead he's going for Chagaev who won't be an easy nights work.

I appreciate Vitali's abilities. I don't care for the way either he or Wlad conduct business. Let's not forget these 2 were promoter of Baysangurov, and probably had a hand in Bays' 2 pullouts v Jamie Moore. Remember all that pallarva?

Those Wlad-Haye terms were ludicrous - in the advent of a Haye win - whether Haye deserved the fight or not. It's an absolute monopoly of the titles and the 2 champs/brothers aren't into taking risks, aren't into putting on/being in quality fights.

Wlad is a really nice man and conducts himself in a very good maner he doesnt trash talk or anything like that I like both the Klitschko brothers
