He was just over a ounce over. Couldnt shed the weight in time. Title becomes vacant if he beats lawton tomorrow.

shoot, i hope this doesn't mess up the thaxton fight for murray
hope this doesn't tarnish his career too badly, as he's one of my fave British fighters & has had to wait along time for the fights he wanted
joe gallagher told me he wanted this lawton fight on the undercard of thaxton-mezaache, shortly after murray-mcallister.
would this weight thing have happened if JM had been kept busy?

Oh if Murray is struggling to make Lightweight I think he could be f'd in terms of world honours... well I don'tthink he will go that far anywhere.
He could find himself like Brodie - to big for Super Bantam, too small for Feather.

Full brazillian and body wax would have done the trick

More to the poniot will he get past Lawton, dont get me wrong, I think Murray should batter him, however, if he's been killing himself to come an ounce over, well, who knows.

once Gethin gets hold of em they are never the same again mate, he's currently weighing about 12stone and he's afraid of his own shadow.

hopefully murray is at his best as with meager
hopefully he hasn't come in distracted or drained and not at his best - like with hamidi or munguia
i'm still going for murray to break lawton in 1/2

Wheres Dooley when he's potentially at his most usesful... ?
Will someone check the dooley-cave, ring the Dooley-phone, or send up the Doo-signal (a big puff of smoke usually).

Murray'll win alright, I just hope he looks good as anything other than a sharp showing and he gets some right stick.

I hate it when boxers don't make weight, especially when there's a title on the line.

So he was between 20 and 80 grams over the limit...
Sure he would have lost it had they not been stuck in traffic.

I've released the smell of Cheetos in the air. Seriously, he bothers us when we don't need him and when we do he's nowt to be found.

Poor professionalism, either taken the fight too lightly or really is struggling, but if he if that tight at the weight it didn't happen overnight.
I do reckon a bic all over would be close to an ounce tho! You never know it could be 2 fingers at Hennessy.
If he did really kill himself at the weight it will have an impact on his performance tomorrow, but I feel he still has far too much for Lawton
