presuming Amir Khan beats Kotelnik (still can't believe a F***k W****n fighter is fighting for anything other than a WBO strap) should his first defence be against Bredis Prescott? OK, his opposition may be questionable but Prescott is unbeaten after 21 fights and is the only man to KO Khan. Khan reckons he'll take him next time so surely the rematch is a shoe-in?

I know that neither Khan, Kotelnik or Prescott would be viewed as a legitimate champ - simply an alphabet holder - but it would be interesting to see how they would fit in with the genuine best in the world in the light-welter division.

Khan has to fight Dmitriy Salita if he wins the belt, then probably Victor Ortiz.

What a poor state boxing is in now, I mean if anyone should be fighting for a 'world' title out of these two then surely it should be Prescott. Been less than a year that Khan gets KO'd by Prescott, whatever fights Prescott has had since or when he's fighting next has basically gone unnoticed and Khan gets a chance at a 'world' title How would you be able to explain this to a non boxing fan? 'Oh, Khan gets a shot at world title now' or 'Khan is world champ now, he must of avenged that defeat againts Prescott to get the chance right?'..............

If Khan beats Kotlenik (which he won't) I would love to see Frank's reasons for avoiding the legitimate challengers lining up for the belt.

Prescott has been totally screwed over by allegedly. Frank as options on Prescott because of the Khan fight. Prescott bored of waiting around for Frank to delivery him a fight. Went on to fight Humberto Toledo, without Franks permission. I think Frank is seeking legal action.

Is Frank totally screwing Breidis Prescott over, by giving him 1 fight a year? I heard Frank has Breidis Prescott for 6 fights. Would Warren give Breidis Prescott a fight a year for 6 years just to screw him over?

At some point punches land & thats when Khan is out.

Can you imagine Team Leonard or Team Lennox steering them away from Duran or Rahman? They'd have gone nuts. Lewis stalked Rahman like a Max Cady with dreadlocks.

i think what gives khan a better chance is that he as trained in la with the best trainer prob had the best spar with manny pac,ye it doesnt change his chin but his defence will have been worked on and khan has gone out of his comfort zone by goin to LA...he must av improved

yeah he good but for a start khan wouldnt risk giving him a title shot and fighters should achieve something in their natural division first i dont think prescott kills himself making lightweight

if khan wins a world title and prescott takes a beating off someone and becomes a seriously faded fighter, it mihgt happen. especially if prescott's career looks bleak one day and needs a payday. but would he want the hassle given what happened / what is happening with the dispute
