Friday Fight Night discussion Burns V O'Hara for c'wealth

Is it just me that finds it hard to keep an active interest in boxing at the moment?
There just seems to be so few proper decent shows nowadays, and then we have all these pull outs- I'm too low on confidence with it all to buy a ticket or book trips in advance.
I mean- whats Friday fight night- Ricky Burns V Kevin O'Hara. Whats the point of it, really? Hometown Boy V Decent enough, but clearly beatable opponent. Would be a decent enough undercard fight, but other than local interest and personal fans of Burns, can anyone really show enough interest in a bout like this to class it as a Main Event - and the only live fight show on the programme?
Looking ahead, the next decent fights are on July 18th- and SURPRISE SURPRISE there is a clash.
so nothing much for a month, then I have to make a choice between the Khan bill, or Clevelrly V McIntosh.
