It is concerning for David at the moment...Wlad may choose to fight Povetkin now after beating Chagaev....and Vitali may not be interested after the injury saga and the way Haye promoted the Wlad fight....

On the other hand...both brothers may just wanna shut Haye up for good in which case he will get his chance soon....its fair to say he has got under both their skins with his taunting....

I have to add too, I thought Wlad looked dreadful against Chagaev who was as static as a slug with arthoritis....it showed again how poor this division is....

Not entirely sure whether he has to fight Povetkin soon or if he'll have time to fight Haye....I see Povetkin is number 1 for the IBF so he might not have the choice....maybe Vitali might push for the fight as he was the second option in the three fight agreement haye and Wlad had....then it also depends whether the WBC push for a Vitali/Arreola mandatory....which would be a non event as I think Arreola looks terrible when I've seen him....

why would anyone want to do haye a favour? he pulled out of the fight at short notice.
let him fight chagaev or valuev.

dont think haye will fight wlad next but i heard something about vitali being able to choos his next opponent so you never know

wlad has to fight povetkin next or vacate the IBF title.
im not sure what vitali s obligations are in regards to the WBC but i dont see haye getting a shot at either klit januray/february time if he does at all

Haye does not deserve a fight with either of them. He should earn his shot.

Haye needs to stay active and Fight, thats the most important thing at the moment.

At 28 he should be Fighting 3 times at year

His Fight output has been PATHETIC over the the last few years

2007 - 2 Fights
2008 - 2 Fights
2009 - 0 Fights so far

The fight with Haye was a voluntary defence, not a mandatory, so Klitschko may have to face Povetkin.

Wladimir will want to fight David ASAP!!! - he naturally thinks he can win - but more importantly even though there was the Haye pull out - Klitschko still boxed to a big crowd and David Haye due to the build up was one of the biggest reasons why that crowd happened!!! - the tickets were already bought - and thus due to financial reasons - and lets face it - its seriously big bucks the fight will happen this year!!!

i reckon vitali will become the opponent for haye.

and that's a much tougher fight.

wladimir will probably go with the mandatory.

povetkin is fairly high profile and will be accepted by HBO.

not good news for haye tbh.

course there is.

but povetkin is a bit of a name himself and had some respectable wins.

it wouldn't surprise me if haye gets passed onto older brother vitali.

cos vitali has just won his case against the wbc not to fight maskaev.

makes ya think he has other plans.

Not sure but he has his mandotray Povetkin next I think he should win this one quite easily as Povetkin opens up Wlad will keep him at range and land some big punches so maybe Haye could get in after that but I dont think Vitali has any fights coming so maybe he would be the better option I dont give him much of a chance against either of the Klitschko's tbh so he may as well get his payday against the 1 who doesnt have a fight imo

Agreed.He's practically semi-retired and has made only an absolute minimum of effort to establish himself in the heavyweight division.The whole thing reeks of cash-in to me.if he was really serious about making a go of it he could have a number of journeymen this time to keep himself sharp and get used to heavyweight punches.

Vitali has stated his preferred next opponent would be Haye, so hopefully, that can happen in Spetember!

Haye needs to be out soon because before he knows it, he won't be fighting at all this year & that would be a real shame & an opportunity missed!

because he sold 61000 tickets (£££), he brings US TV (£££) and entertainment.

Vitali in September is looking favourite IMO (due to the Povetkin mandatory), it's a much harder contest than the Wlad fight, but it's one 'The Gifted One' can win IMO
