UPLOADING VIDEOS TO YOU TUBE - A RETARDS GUIDE

Gents, i notice i seem to have stacks of dusty old 80's boxing fights, none of which appear to be on You Tube.

The thought of young boxing fans not being able to watch such era defining moments as Renaldo Snipes knocking Lionel Washington clean out of the ring, or Bonecrusher Smith bashing about a near-obese David Bey is truly a crime & i would like to remedy this.

Can someone explain to me step by step how on earth i put DVDs and tapes onto You Tube? Bearing in mind i have less brains than a goose. Thats right, you heard me. A goose.

Many thanks if anybody can be arsed writing out how to do this.

Ok here goes.

Dowload a free ripper (this will rip the segment of the dvd that you want and store it on your pc hard drive) here http://www.freewarezoom.com/archives/free-dvd-ripper
Insert dvd into drive on pc or laptop
Using dvd ripper, add dvd you want to rip by clicking "Open DVD"
DVD will be located in "Computer"
Once the dvd is added click "segment" which will allow you to rip out specific clips rather than the whole dvd
Chose start and end time of the clip you want to rip
Rip segments into 10 minute clips as this is the maximum allowed on youtube
Choose mp4 format where it says "Output Settings", to save clips (this is a good format for youtube)
Make sure you save clips to a folder on your desktop or documents so it will be easy to find
Click on "Start encoding"
Once the ripper has saved the clips to your pc, simply download to youtube

I hope this helps.

Glad to help, let me know if you run into difficulties. Oh and make sure to post your links to these fights when they're up on Youtube :TU:
