Very little chance imo, but he should last till the midway point anyway.

gets tagged too much, and doesnt hit hard enough to trouble brook. I maintin its big punchers that will troule Kel, even though some say his chin is iron, i have my doubts.

It will be a massive shock if Brook doesn't win inside 5 rounds.

Lomax is all right. Quite a nice boxer. Brook will have done a really good job if he takes him out before mid way.
Got to say though, I saw a little snippet in BN (I think) saying Lomax might not fancy the match if it was outside London. Hope that's not true because it gives off all the wrong signs.

Lomax seems to end up cut quite regular in fights
however that was mainly against Craig Dickson due to heads flying about.
i think Brook will beat him by half way mark
i have a feeling it wont happen though
and Brook vs John odonnel wont either
Craig watson would be good test for Brook but hes moving to light welter

Trust me lomax is a good friend of mine and he wanted this fight badly, wherever it was held. He is the most awkward fighter that anyone would want to fight thats why nobody wants to fight him.
His amateur record speaks for itself and although he doesn't have concussive punching power, he has a good chin and is, and will be a lot fitter than brook.
Although Brook is everybodys favourite, whats gonna happen when his big shots don't land everytime and he gets dragged into the later rounds.
I think its gonna be an interesting fight, and lomax may pull off a big shock.

Kell is a fit lad - don't assume Lomax will have the edge in that dept just coz you've heard the stories about Kell's 'refuelling'.
Yes Kell has in the past blown up between fights but he has stayed 'on it' weight wise for a good while now and when he trains, he trains incredibly hard.
Come fight night, he will be in excellent condition and ready for 12 hard rounds.

I watched Lomax fight in the flesh from ringside at York Hall - it was on the Eastman-Richard Williams undercard. Of all the Brit fighters that night - and there were loads of them - he stood out a mile in terms of skill (except the main event fighters obviously)
He was a very nice mover with above average talent for a Brit, i was surprised to see he had lost a fight & hasn't advanced much since December 06.

I was talking about he's lack of fitness not his weight problems.
