it says on his schedule he is due to fight Marcos Rene Maidana for the interim WBA Title so it looks like Khan will have to fight him sooner or later.

He'll drop the title and face Hatton.

kahn v ortiz would be a superb match up.Id love to see him fight prescott again but thats only going to happen if the colombian picks up something kahn wants ie an alphabet title but prescott seems to be struggling with his career which is a real shame

His mandatory's should he win the title wont be easy. Unless Warren can pull a few strings like he used to with the WBO I cant see Khan holding the belt for too long.

Khan must fight Salita next. Then Ortiz.

Even a badly faded Hatton would KO Khan inside 3 rounds IMO.

i see it the other way with hatton pressing but failing to cope with kahns hand speed.Pretty much like what happened against barrera

Salita would be perfect for a first defence. A nice 30-0 would go well on Khan's record and he should beat Salita. Looking at his record, he's not beat anyone of note and seems to have struggled against some lowly opposition.

i think he sould fight hatton because he wont fight murrary beacause its to little money and to much risk he wants to stay away from presscot and ortiz because they will spark him !

The Hatton fight would be worth far too much money fo it to not happen. It's down to if Ricky decided he wants to fight on or not.

Khan hasn't got the power to KO Hatton, and Hattin only needs to hit him flush once to end it. The Barrera fight is a bad example. Barrera was blind, had he not been cut I'd have favoured him to win.

Salita should be an easy win, but as always, Khan is never a sure bet with that chin of his. I feel all this is academic anyway, as I reckon Kotelnik KOs Khan before any of this can happen.

I would love to see him fight either Murray or Thaxton but doubt FW will let him little money for high risk I think he will either get an easy title defence against a relative unknown or someone on the slide but as i said would love it to be Murray

Murray or Thaxton will never happen for Khan. It's a shame because that's already two men he's, or his team, have dodged so far. I still find it hard to comprehend why Thaxton/Khan didn't happen. Weren't they both mandatory to one another at one point?

why does Thaxton name keep being brought up ??? he was offered £125k and turned it down and his since lost... do you actually want see this fight ?????

Murray on the other hand....Good Fight !

surely if Khan wins he wont have to fight voluntary after voluntary will he ???? is that how it works ??

I'm pretty sure Thaxton said himself, and he's a reasonable and likable bloke, that he got offered peanuts to face Khan. I'm sorry, but it smacks of Mr. C*nt-face's tactics. Offer a derisory figure, let them turn it down, spout that whoever turned down the chance.

Will Frank let Khan in the ring with Ortiz if he is to beat Maidana and Khan beats Salita and Kotelik? Sure he has an amateur win over him but the pros are a different game and Ortiz is a great puncher with solid skills, someone who could really tear Khans head off.

I hope Khan can become a very solid world champion if he gets past Kotelnik. I can't see a fight with Hatton coming off, so I would love to see him in with Salita and then the Ortiz/Maidana winner. If that happens, I will be pleased for him. I doubt it will though.
